Why are all the overseas suppliers untrusted?

Hi everyone, new user here. Hoping someone with more knowledge of the industry can help me - after reading a lot of the forum, it seems that there is very little trust for overseas (chinese?) suppliers. Testing is mandatory. It seems so unnecessary - like surely all a vendor has to do is test their own product consistently before shipping it out so people gain trust? But is there something about the industry that makes such a long term view unprofitable? E.g. unfavourable local laws? Product is likely to degrade in transit anyway? I wonder why someone from the forum doesn't go over and set up shop there just to test stuff before it gets separated into individual orders so people on the receiving end don't have to coordinate so much.

Interpretation of Chinese law by Chinese authorities is subject to change. This is true even in areas outside of underground drug trade. Most of these suppliers are selling things illegal to sell in China. Legality of selling abroad is subject to interpretation by authorities

They don't generally wanna hurt you...but there's sort of a split between some who are fairly honest and hoping for repeat business vs others hoping to make a quick buck tricking some foolish Americans.

Right. It's not like they will intentionally replace your peptide with poison. But they may send you wrong product, bunk product or a bad batch which is not great for your health. That is why testing is important.
And at times when repeat business seems like a less likely perspective (like 30% seizure rates reported by some vendors), they are more likely to run exit scams

I believe the problem is that they're all far away and we don't really know who they are. If you're paying by crypto someone whose real name you don't know and you don't know who they are, there is a good chance they'll scam you. Cain has been proven to be a liar many times. Yet he is domestic and gets paid by credit card. He tells you what he's selling you As a result, Cain is unlikely to scam you.
