Women - what peptide do you find works best for appetite suppression during PMS week?

Reta barely does a thing and I'm back to being hungry every 2 hrs (it already just barely works during normal weeks). I have tried upping the dose, it still doesn't work. Has anyone tried multiple peptides and found that one works better than another for that time of the month? Open to non-peptide suggestions like certain birth control meds, or something else entirely.

Please don't reply that it's normal and I just need to deal with it. I know it's normal, I am still looking for meds to get rid of it. Currently looking into trying Cagri, Tirz, Servo, and Tesa. If you have found something that has worked for you (or tried something and it didn't work), please do share below 🙂

Because of perimenopause, I'm on a 3-3.5 week cycle. So I bleed, appetite is normalized the day after I start and I drop 3-6 pounds in two days because I was also carrying around some water. I get a week of normal. Then stuff starts slowly and gradually ramping up over the next two to two and a half weeks, then I bleed and we return.

I also don't track my cycle and pretty much never have, so I am so frequently confused about why I have been starving to death for days when I'm clearly not, and then I start bleeding and go "oh!!"

It was that way on tirz, it's that way on my current ramp-up of reta.

I swear mine sped up as well, though I am not in perimenopause. Though every time I lose weight my cycle gets fucky, so idk if I can blame the Reta.

Honestly I just treat it like a refeed. I eat a little more and try to stay very aware of when I'm satiated but still eating out of habit or to finish the thing. It's only a few days thing for me though and I haven't seen it actually impact weight loss.

Saffron has helped with the mood part of PMS. Maybe give that a try?

I'm looking into what to stack to boost tirz. I haven't had a period in 3 months though so I've got nothing to go off of. I've always been irregular and had missed one before starting tirz. The weight loss has obviously kept me from it.
I'm interested in cagri or survo.

This is what I do as well. My appetite is often too low the other 3 weeks of the month, so I don’t let it bother me too much. It used to bother me a lot because I was scared that the injections were failing. It felt like the “old me” who couldn’t control my eating. After being on glps for a while though I’ve learned to trust the process and trust my body. Which is easier said than done when I never could do that before.

How long have you been taking Cargi and which dose? Do you only take it during shark week? Thanks!
I’ve been on Cagri for ~8 weeks, but I’ve skipped two weeks within there so I could have a bit of a break. Cagri+Tirz is an intense combo for me, especially the first few days I can only eat up to ~500 calories, so I feel a bit dizzy and weak.

I’m on 10mg Tirz and 0.5mg Cagri atm. This is likely the last week I’ll take it, as I’ve finally reached my goal. It’s been absolutely fantastic for losing those stubborn last 15 pounds

I'm going through my first cycle ever where I don't want to eat everything and it's thanks to tirz! I'm only 3 pins in so this is all very new to me but wow, this is some amazing stuff. Previously just doing CICO I'd always get horribly derailed this time of the month.

I'm really understanding all the people with the compulsion to hoard 10 years worth now lol

Thank you! Hmm, this is helpful. Maybe I could use it as a little insurance during PMS and then Shark week (was thinking about it or Reta). I’m STARVING during those weeks. I may just up my Tirz, I’m only taking 5-6 mg, so plenty of room to go. Thanks for your response.

I find nothing helps the first 4 or so days. I stopped trying to fight it and use it as maintenance practice. We need more food on our period! And it’s good to eat higher calorie sometimes so we don’t experience metabolic adaptation. Cagri or a fiber supplement like Metamucil can help but honestly it’s not to be the same!

Have you only done that .5mg Cagri dose or did you start lower? And do you take them at the same time or different days?
