I believe it and also believe people that are way, way overweight lose a lot more faster. I have a hell of a time losing after the first 10lbs. Realistically it must be my trucker lifestyle of being on my ass or back 20 hours a day, with the exception of planet fitness here and there and out with my dog on weekends. Now I do 6mg of reta and 1mg sema and losing 2 or 3 lbs a week again. Started 247 and now 230 but that's taken 4 months....I'll take it.

That is both good news and bad news. The good news is that younger people can get their health and life under control early. They won't have to live with obesity for decades like many of us have. They will actually get to enjoy their youth. The bad news is that most of the weight comes back when they go off, so they will have to be on some sort of medication for the rest of their lives.

Speaking on behalf of the old farts, we missed most out on our younger, potentially thinner days. On the other hand we won't have to take the medication for 40-60 years -- because we won't live that long. That is a positive, I think.

The age groups are 45, 55 and 65. I don't know that the study dives into what society considers "young." My 47yo ass is feeling good since I'm a youngster... LOL

These medicines will only become more powerful over time.
