I have had to pay the price and learn the hard way, I stored some reta at room temp for too long and now it’s cooked.

Unfortunately I have no choice but to have a break from reta until I’m stocked up again (2 weeks as a guess), my question is do I have to titrate back up or are my receptors conditioned to to a certain point where I can start back up on 3mg.

Keen to hear your thoughts.

You stored reconstituted reta at room temp? And it was recon’d with BAC, right?

Also, no problem with a 2-week break. When I was working FIFO and subject to mandatory screening of personal belongings, I ran reta 2 week on (while at home) and 2 weeks off (while at work). With a half-life of 6 days, you’ll still have some in your system. If you were at a higher dose or had a much longer break, if it was me, I might consider using the GLP1 Plotter to see how much was in my system and then matching that as my dose and working back up, but I personally feel like 3 mg with a 2-week break will be fine.

I did not constitute it, it had sat around 30c for about 4 weeks.

Thank you mate, glad to hear I will be fine back on 3mg.

Just stay same dose. It has about a 5-6 day half life. It takes 5 half lives, so about 30 days, to clear your system. Same amount of half lives for peak concentration.

I’m still not sure I follow. Storing lyophilized peptide at room temp for a month really shouldn’t be a problem. So if it hadn’t been reconstituted, that shouldn’t render it inactive. You said you didn’t recon it but I interpret your comment that it did nothing to mean you took a dose and don’t feel like it had any effect. So…again…just trying to connect the dots - I think maybe you either bought it already in liquid form (reconstituted) and it sat at room temp for 4 weeks or it was still in powder form and you added BAC and don’t feel an effect.

I bought it as lyophilized and stored it that way, the temperature where I stored it has been up and down from 10c to 30c.

It had no effect when I pinned it, it did not control my hunger or give me any indication that its doing anything even at 8mg.

Okay, that’s what I suspected. It’s really hard to good off of feels with reta. I’m not sure how long you’ve been on your protocol, but if you’re at 3 mg, presumably at least a few weeks (hopefully longer). As you know, reta doesn’t have the strongest appetite suppression of the GLPs and it doesn’t really hit you the same way after you’ve used it a bit. If you want to buy a different supply, that’s no problem, but I would keep using what I had if it was me and continue to track measurable metrics (like weight, body fat %), etc.

They said stored at up to 30C for a month. That's 86F and the upper limit for Tirz and only then for 21 days. It may indeed be cooked.
I mean, I live in the south in the US and I’m sure my stuff has sat in some warehouse, container ship, mailbox, delivery truck at much higher temps before it reaches the sanctuary of my freezer. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Bottom line is I wouldn’t consider it dangerous and would keep using it, but everyone must decide his or her own risk tolerance. Just don’t think I’d go off of feels before tossing a vial.

It wouldn't be dangerous but it would impact the potency. I'm not sure what else to go by unless it was tested. I would hope that 30C temps wouldn't happen for longer than 21 days during shipping. And 8 mg is a solid dose. If that was my only vial, I might stick with it though.

I'm not on reta but am on tirz/survo since last fall, have been at gw since Nov 1, 25 and feel nothing - however - I've been comfortably at gw since Nov 1, 25. For me, it's not about feelz - it's about efficacy.
Of course, that definitely calls into question my entire health protocol and not just kidding myself that the weekly peptide injection is going to magically do all the work.

The bottom line is arcticfox hasn’t given us enough info to make a judgment on that. He or she told us the current dose is 3 mg. Don’t know if that’s weekly or multiple times per week. Don’t know if calories are being tracked. Don’t know how long he or she has used this product that was stored warm for a month before reconstitution. Don’t know if that weight gain was the next day or consistent over the course of a couple of weeks. I personally track my weight daily because it bounces around, but the overall trend is downward. It’s easy to get discouraged when you get a number that’s higher, but it normally trends downward when you zoom out IF you are still doing your part. But if I had a binge week and gained weight, I wouldn’t blame the reta. I wouldn’t even say “well, I wouldn’t have wanted to binge if the reta was working.” I’m hungry a LOT on reta, but it helps me to tune out and sort of ignore it when it’s between meals. Everyone is different. I eat whatever I want but I don’t eat whenever I want and I track calories regardless. We can’t rely solely on the reta to do all of the work.
