TMS = Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

I've been researching it and I am unsure if my insurance will cover. It seems like it costs thousands of dollars without insurance. For people who have had it, did you experience any significant difference in symptoms?

Hey, Dogmom. I had it done through the VA for depression and anxiety. They really sold me on it but it didn’t do anything for me. I wasted a lot of time on it too. Several days a week for about a month.

For what it’s worth, I have had some relief from a stellate ganglion block and I was also prescribed a Gama brand vagus nerve stimulator that allows you to administer shocks twice per 24 hour period. I can’t speak to any efficacy those things would have on ADHD.

Thanks for your insight. The place I'm going is pushing TMS therapy hard. I've read all kinds of things about it. I have not read any major side effects just mostly that for the people it didn't work for it seemed like a huge waste of time and money.
