Checked TG and sure enough they posted a pinned comment about the change to stay ahead of potential future regulatory requirements. Just thought it was interesting that they are also keeping a close eye on this news topic.

I have a newbie question - I’m still on compounded T at the top dose of 13mg. How do I compute how much grey T60 is the equivalent to the Compunded 5ml vials?

When you say stockpile for 2.5 years/- it made me realize I don’t know how much that is. A kit is 10 vials- but typically how long does a kit last a person? A week? Month? More?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

you are very sure your dose is 13mg? Have you already purchased a kit of T60?

Wow you ARE really new. Compounded vials are typically 1 to 3ml full of loquid with concentrations from 10mg/ml to compounders such as Southend that offer a 22mg/ml concentration.

A gray t60 vial could be whatever concentration you want. Its up to you.
But it will always be 60mg. If you buy a kit, thats 600mg. Divide your 13mg weekly dose into 600 per week and thats your dose number. Now off with you, go read some more!!!!!

I wouldn't say stupid but it illustrates that you are missing some of the really really basic concepts.

You have a lot of reading to do. A kit is 10 vials of a certain dosage. For example, A T60 kit is made of 10 vials that have 60mg of tirzepatide each ( so 600mg total) .

The question of how long a kit lasts a person will depend on their weekly dosage. If they take 15mg every week, a 60mg vial will last them 4 weeks. If their dose is 10mg, it will last them 6 weeks.

It’s true. I do have a lot of reading to do. I have several books already I’ve read two so far. and many tabs open. But I haven’t seen thisQ asked or answered and I wanted to ask. It’s hard for me to compute. I’m trying f to fill in gaps of the whole journey and what a kit means in terms of time. Now as I read I have a placeholder that vial can be 4-6 week. Before I commit to actually buying I need to understand how n a way where’s there’s a whole story and no. gaps. So thank you for the breakdown. I see how it works now.
 
Y'all pipe down on this "the sky is falling" thread. Some of us are trying not to panic hoard cause we already regular-hoarder-hoarded and are vulnerable to hoarding even MORE of it while we're sitting here feeling freaked out because we didn't hoard enough cucumbers before the winter storm and will run out of them before the roads are clear on Tuesday AND THAT'S WHAT I USE TO EAT MY BABA GHANOUJ. Which I will also run out of because I didn't buy enough eggplants before the storm hit.

(important note: I have more than enough delicious and healthy food in the house because I hoarded frozen zucchini a few months ago and can just roast that and enjoy it when I run out of cucumbers and eggplant, there is NO NEED FOR THIS ANXIETY)

I am on compunded tirz from telehealth. I’m at the top dose now — which is 13 -15 mg or I draw 74 units. I’m about to slowly titrate down.

I have a severe learning disability with math and I struggle. It’s a legit problèm as I study and read through the pep materials.

I understand. And sometimes telehealth doesn't educate folk on the details.
Take your time. You can figure this out.
You'll want to buy a kit with a COA from Janoshik and or get involved with a group test.
Once you get a test, you will know if there is overfill.
A 60mg vial could actually contain like 65mg. You need to know this for your calculations.
 
This is completely unrelated to the thread it was posted in. Put questions in new threads. Otherwise no one will ever find it.
 
It helped my little brain when Zep puts .5ml in every vial.
(Maybe a unit or two overfill) Doesn't matter if it's 2.5mg or 15mg.
So, I know .5ml per week. Maybe pin the overfill 4 or 5 days later.😁

I can't speak about the concentration or comparison to compounded stuff.

Your question is partly understandable from a newby point of view. I know I struggled with some of the math and it's REALLY important to get it right. Focus on the basics at 1st. IE: dry measure is weight, milligrams (mg)(1000mg per gram)( a gram is a lot for peptides), less common is milligrams(mg) to micrograms(mgm) 1000 mgm=1 mg(really,really small). Liquid measure is by volume, milliliters(ml) 1milliliter is the same as 1cc. All most all syringes come marked into units. 100 units = 1milliliter = 1cc. Syringes come in three common sizes. 100 units, 50 units, and 30 units. Most folks inject 25-50 units. The smaller syringes are easier to measure the smaller liquid amounts because the graduations are larger thus simpler and more accurate. Should you decide to use refillable pens the "clicks" are one unit each. Thus dialing 25 "clicks" is equal to 25 units... And if that ain't enough to scramble your brains, paying attention to decimal places is VERY important. Don't wanna be injecting 25mg when you really wanted to be getting .25mg!!! I still write it all down on paper and go thru the math step by step. Take notes and keep them handy. It can seem like a lot but it is one of those things that is easier than what it 1st appears and gets easier the more you do it. Take a few syringes and practice using water. Use a calculator as/if needed. Don't hesitate to ask . It's important to get the basics down pat... Lots of good videos on YouTube and some of the more computer savvy folks on this forum have reconstitution/dosage charts after their posts. I had to much of the 60's to learn how to to do that...

Please keep asking questions. If you need to and have not worked it out. Going ahead and dosing yourself before asking questions is stupid , asking them is not , even if people sometimes get sick of seeing the same questions over and over. The most common thing to go wrong and cause harm with grey peptides is dose errors, accidentally giving yourself 10 x the dose you thought you were is super easy, and could lead to a week of puking or a hospital visit, there are lots of scientific papers about it. Making sure you are taking the correct dose is essential, as there are zero safety mechanisms. Using one of the calculators in the post above is a good idea.

It's great you're here and asking questions.

You might want to check Tirz dosing protocol to confirm max dosage.

You might want to confirm with your current provider what dosage you are taking.

The calculators were really helpful to me. There are tons of them available. I personally prefer the Injection Shop"s calculator.

You've gotten a great answer on how long a kit lasts.

Please don't pin yourself until you understand what you're doing and what you're buying. It may seem easy and harmless but it's anything but harmless no matter how easy it seems to obtain. This is your health on the line. We only get one body.

Thank you all. I’m writing it all down and thinking it through. I’m haven’t leapt yet to gray so am taking my time and asking questions until I feel clear and understand it.

This has been illuminating and I’m super appreciative of everyone’s feedback.
