First off, placed my first order for GM Peps on Friday and received my tracking information the next day, which turned out to be FedEx (for the inbound to US I'm assuming). This process actually created more questions than answers:

1) When I went into my FedEx account to enter the tracking number, it was already there showing "Label Created - NSC Fulfillment ONT" which I assumed is ONT airport here in California. Guessing this is where it will land in the US from China? Will customs take place here or before it departs China?

2) When my supplier schedules/ships the package in China, is that last leg (FedEx) also scheduled instantaneously? In other words, when I see in my FedEx account a "Label Created - NSC Fulfillment ONT" entry, do I assume something has been actually shipped in China, or is it just a placeholder? I would think the shipment occurred because FedEx has been engaged, but is this a bad assumption? In other words, does "Label Created - NSC Fulfillment ONT" = Shipped?

Pretty sure it means it’s shipping label has been created and it’s heading to the fulfillment center in Ontario, LA. But hasn’t been picked up yet.

I’ve read China doesn’t do customs on weekends. So international shipments don’t get sent out over the weekend. I ordered Friday (different vendor) evening and all mine says is “parcel data received.” It’s Monday in China now so hopefully we’ll both get some updates later this evening.

That is what happens some times with my orders. I sure the shipment is just in transit (3rd party shipping) till fedex get's it. then your tracking will kick in.

Here's the weird thing: A little over week ago, I thought I was placing my first order with someone presenting themselves as a rep of one of the suppliers here.

They took my money, then tried to shake me down for more "shipping fees", then they vanished. The actual supplier said it wasn't them on Discord. Chocked it up to my GM initiation fee and moved onto to a measured, cautious order with another supplier 6 days later.

When I viewed my FedEx account, as stated in the original post to check my supplier-provided tracking, I also saw another "Label Created - NSC Fulfillment ONT" in FedEx dated 1/24?!

Why would a scammer go thru those motions or do I really have another shipment enroute?

That's really why I want to understand that FedEx "Label Created - NSC Fulfillment ONT" mechanism.

Interesting, very curious how this works out. If you get the original order that's great but then why the lie that it was a scammer. Really hard to keep faith in the original vendor if they don't even know what is going on lol.

Maybe. let's see how it plays out. Sometimes scammers try to double dip on "customs fees" or even "fees at your post office". Be cautiously optimistic. But don't send more money...

can you hit up FedEx support with the tracking # I think they can confirm if it's bogus

The FedEx piece is the only shred of hope IF it means anything at all.

I guess I should have my answer by next weekend (two full weeks). I would suppose that FedEx "Label Created..." would just fall off? Uncharted territory for me so maybe we all learn something (other than reaffirming "a fool and his money...")

Good luck. fingers crossed, I hope this does work out for you.

My package usually sit on label created for a day or two before they start moving. Once they start moving it usually takes about 3-4 days to arrive at my door.

FedEx label created or China freight created? That FedEx label created is 9 days and counting.

I guess the bigger question I'll have if all the IFs happen and I receive vials with pucks/powder in them from this unknown shipper: What do I do with them? Could be anything or everything but peptides in there?

I guess a good problem to have, but still a problem.

I don’t get the china freight thing.
I place an order then usually my supplier will send me a photo of my things and say my order has been filled and I’ll get a fedex or dhl shipping label created notification shortly after. The a day or two later it leaves china.

So your FedEx or DHL shows a China pickup and departure? My "two" shipments only show the landing point in the US (Ontario, CA) and this seemed to be typical.

Maybe since you are an Australia shipping point its different?

Small, possibly meaningless update on the "scammer" shipment.
I was able to use the reference number on 17track over the weekend and the last couple days to find the following tracking info:

1/24 - Shenzhen Airport sorting warehouse, order information received.

2/2 - Shenzhen Airport sorting warehouse, entering the distribution center.

2/4 - Shenzhen Airport sorting warehouse, departing from the distribution center.

Could this be real?!

Updates:

2/4 - SZ, Goods have arrived at the operations center, operations completed.

2/6 - SZ, the goods have been shipped out of the warehouse and are being arranged for disembarkation.

Is this beyond Customs at his point and/or will it continue to move with CNY commencing?

Well, another 4 days on the clock and zero movement. 18 days in.

Did this shipment fall into a CNY black hole at an airport holding facility with no hands on deck to commence the "disembarkation" (aka putting it on a friggin flight) of my initial (possibly) China Grey shipment?

Shipment Two (non-Scammy, at this point) has no tracking (the reference# returns nada) until it lands at ONT and FedEx takes the baton. 11 days in.

Paying the extra bucks to a China supplier with a US warehouse is starting to look more attractive at this point from a piece of mind and visibility perspective.

$800+ invested (+ another $100 in Solana losses) at this point with bupkis to show for it.

Which tracking site are using?

I just went through something similar. Luckily the vendor is a good communicator. Basically a day after I placed my order the vendor sent me a FexEx tracking number saying “label created” from inside the US, which made me nervous because I was very much buying from CN with no state side warehouse.

A bit over a week later after it still hadn’t moved and still said “label created” I asked the vendor what the deal was and she said it was going to take a few extra days to get on a plane due to the holiday they are having over there. Sure enough, four days later the Fed Ex tracking picked up and now the package is in my hands as of today. So 14 days door to door.

I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I will be lucky to see anything for another week with CNY in effect.

I’m trying not to watch the pot, but the anticipation of the boil keeps bringing me back.

For anyone still here for another installment of "As the Grey Churns":

Looking like tracking will come in fits and starts (probably CNY-related) based on this morning's update below.

2/7 HK, the goods have arrived at the port, waiting for flight arrangement

2/9 HK, the flight is expected to be on February 10th, the local flight is expected to arrive on February 10th

The Scammer Shipment marches on...
