Anyone having issues hitting the can for number 2? I'm fine, but the amount is way down, but my wife is having some issues going. She's always been a tad odd on this bodily function, but usually goes in the morning. She says it's maybe 2 days now. We have drastically cut out carbs pretty much, besides a couple drinks a day. We also don't eat at much as before, but that's the appetite deal of the Reta, it's definitely real. Just pinned the second 4mg last Friday, after 4 of the 2mg. Odd subject, but this seems like the right place to ask.
TL;DR My wives poop schedule is off.

As long as your not constipated I agree ...less in, less out. If it may be constipation, try a handful of whole roasted pumpkin seeds to get things moving naturally.

I started on tirz, but now on reta. Constipation was a big problem for me until I started taking Metamucil and prunes every day. Now not a problem anymore.

The first few months when I had #2 problems, I took a dulcolax tablet a couple days before my next pin. The constipation wore off, as did the Reta, closer to pin day. Dulcolax is not as strong as a Miralax or the like, and I could take it before bed and the next day it worked as advertised. Now that's me. If you're super sensitive to laxative products, you could stick to natural remedies like Black Cumin or psyllium husk which have also worked for people. I'm now at 10 mg and my problem seems to have resolved.

Thanks for the replies. She when this AM and the world is good. We do protein powder, oat bran and collagen in a shaker in the mornings. I 100% agree less in, less out. As mentioned, mine is way down. I told her a coffee and smoke in the morning would do it. She rolled her eyes at me, as we quit smoking years ago. I'll bring up the Metamucil to her. Sorry for the shitty subject. 💩

Mag07 works for me. My "usual" was once every 6-7 days. Don't judge, I have had intestional issues my whole life. Wile on Tirz, it really backed up so this helps me to stay regular.

Mrs. NYD requires Mag07. Just order it right from NBPure as, of all fucking things, I got fake Mag07 from a Wal-Mart seller 😝

Game changer, as far as I'm concerned, is Keto bread and low-carb tortilla wraps. Two slices of the Keto Hawaiian I like is 70 cals, 18 grams of fiber and 10 grams protein. Wraps have similar macros.

I definitely had a change in that department as well when I started Reta. Not only we are consuming less, but it also hangs around for longer. Based on other suggestions - I also added psyllium husk (I take 3 capsules daily) and Mag07 which I take once or twice a week. It still not "regular schedule" but I have no issues with constipation, etc.

Magnesium citrate supplement in the evening helps me go in the morning. I’ve Always had slow motility and this was a tip a colon hydrotherapist gave me. Absolute life saver!

I agree with your findings myself as well - so it sounds like we are mostly all in the same boat per say. Not full constipation at all but definitely much less often, not a big difference in my eating habits at this point either, besides maybe less snacking...

Reta def made me constipated. I added two tablespoons of psyllium husk powder and the problem had totally been resolved.

Might suggest starting with less. I’ve used the supplement before and knew what to expect within three days I felt much more regular in every way.

I absolutely have had that issue. I added Benefiber to every protein drink, (2-3 a day) which is a lifesaver. Also, I’d suggest adding back some complex carbs for sure. There’s strong evidence that Reta’s GIP signaling and glucagon stimulation doesn’t work as well without complex carbs.

Glad someone was brave enough to bring this subject up. I don't have an issue "going" each day, my issue is it's a slow cramping build that starts around 4 am and doesn't move itself along until around 7am. So 3 hours of tummy pain in the wee mornings has not been fun. I've tried just about everything and nothing has really helped. I have IBS, which is part of the problem. I find myself wondering why, if I am eating less, is there so much "stuff". LOL..

Not at all. Compared to both semaglutide and tirzepitide Reta is way better for my GI system. I did deal with burping and some indigestion, which is normal, but I've been very regular with no issues.
I learned to add in fiber while on tirzapatide. My go-to is kashi crunch (aka: colon blow). Warning: pros only.

Much more regular on reta.
I've had prolonged stints on semaglutide and tirzepitide, and Reta is much better for my regularity than either.

My GI sides on Reta are basically non-existent. It's such a relief coming from monster GI sides on high dose Tirz.

This was basically for my wife, not me. It seems to have helped a few others too, so that's great. I get heartburn, but did before I even Reta. 7th (3rd 4mg) pin total was just 15 minutes ago.

I had this too! It stopped after about 3-4 weeks and now only happens occasionally when /if I increase my dosage It always settles back down again though

I've been like this since I started months ago. I just deal with it at this point. I do drink a ton of water each day, hydration is not the issue. I think my gut just doesn't like me. A friend mentioned Gruns gummies. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has had success with those.

Ahh that sucks! Hopefully you find something that works

Have you tried Black Cumin? A person in my group swears by it. All natural.

My day doesn't start until after my first cup a joe, and my daily constitutional.
Needless to say I had a few bad days when first starting reta. 😆
To reiterate, from the good advise drawn from those here:
Magnesium citrate gummie, 1 psyllium husk cap in the morning and 2 at night, chia seeds on my cereal and fluids w/ electrolytes. I'm good to go!

Well, my wife is pretty much back to as normal, well as normal as she can be. She mentions just less, as discussed above.
