Matters not the flavor my friend. Android, Apple it’s all on a Linux kernel. When you stopped being able to remove the battery you stopped being able to fully turn it off. You don’t have to take my word for it. A few easy searches should at least have you questioning it.

Yeah, I had some moron try to dox me on reddit for daring to have a different opinion on the narrative being pushed by the state and local government about fires that happened. Never mind I have over a decade of fire fighting experience and the points I made were some of the exact tactics used to eventually get the fire under control. Some people are straight up bored psychos on reddit.

Wait, what?? 😲 I am dutifully paranoid (no alexa, siri, nest, ring, etc. in home), but other than fobs being always on trying to connect to the car, thus running down the battery unnecessarily, I have not come across anything credible about key fobs listening in on us.

Fobs sitting inside your home can be cloned, if you can click to start or unlock your car from inside the home then a thief can sit outside your house and clone it and steal your car.

Ive just come to accept that regardless of using randomly generated usernames and having many emails of varying levels of info tied to them, it really doesnt matter these days if the government thinks your worth tracking. Were all tracked and screwed might as well have fun with it

I'm of the same mindset as someone that works in the security engineering side of things. It's not worth the time or inconvenience in my opinion if you're trying to hide from the federales. If they wants ya' they gonna gets ya' 🤣

Me too. I had a decent run there, and then the telehealth wars started, and people were getting tattoos to show their loyalty to certain companies. I had to show myself the door. Glad I found this place. r/glp1jerk is now my favorite. The ultimate parody forum.

Yea i got started into the IT field and didnt really care for it but learned enough that you really gotta put alot of effort into hiding things. Now blocking the traffic thats going in and out from your ISP cause theres 47 streaming sites and instead you built your own netflix.... thats easy enough to do lol
