How do you guys store your GLP?

Is it bad to store a kit in the fridge or does it need to be frozen in the freezer? I just got a RT10 kit and put it in the fridge

I honestly don't know for sure. The advice is always to freeze the kits until needed. Reconstitute and then refrigerate. Someone will probably weigh in that knows more than me.

I use a medicine bag that's lockable, although I never lock it. Just my wife and small daughter, so not really worried about nosey people, but if anyone needed to be descert in a "high traffic fridge" a lockable madacine bag is perfect. Put a small lock on it and only you have the key and access to it. Also, it doesn't take up much space. About the size of a regular bag of shredded cheese.

We store reconstituted vials in a discreet Tupperware tucked into the back of the wine fridge. Pretty much unnoticeable.

We store our kits in a Hydrapeak in the freezer for decades-long protection.

This interview puts most of this to rest, however. Peter Magic of Janoshik said he tested a 10 yr old peptide stored in his garage with no appreciable degradation. Both refrigeration and freezing appear to be unnecessary for lyophilized peptides. Do what makes you feel comfortable.

Some mini fridges are unreliable, I recomend using a nema brand fridge. I personally store mine in a nice fridge before and after reconstruction

This is what I have read:

If it will be used within a couple of months, store at room temp.
Use in 1-2 yrs in the fridge
Use after 2+ in the freezer

All that said, I put everything in the freezer. Except bac water. Bac goes in the linen closet. When opened, Hospira is stored in a case on a shelf where I pin.

I just got PGB bac water. Have to figure out how that stores once "opened".

That is just (non-Hospira) BAC water sold by the (mostly overpriced) vendor PGB, which only takes crypto. PGB posts their links at STG, in the vendor promo section.

I thought all bac goes in the fridge once first used. Then I learned Hospira does not. Now, I don't know if others also do not.

Yes, that's where it's from. I needed something in a hurry and they had it and it's tested. They aren't great on glp pricing but other items seem competitive.

That is true, if you are used to the current state of Chinese vendors and having to pay $30 for domestic shipping for smaller orders (below $300). But at least PGB uses FedEx (ground?). So in some way, PGB was ahead of its time, including with requiring crypto.

"Back in my day" (this time last year), domestic USPS shipping was free from SRY, as it is with some domestic kit vendors now. So I have refused to pay more than $10 for shipping. Uther's US warehouse has a spotty selection but shipping is free.

PWGrove's $15 shipping is partly why I have refused to buy anything from their website, since it reminds me there is no guarantee I will get the package. They offer insurance, but I'm not filing that claim.

My initial CN supplier didn't offer any break on shipping on orders under $1k. I quickly stopped buying from her and am still finding my way on suppliers.

Do not want to rely on group buys. I also don't want to have to buy what I don't need just to offset the cost of testing. I use two products. I don't need much.

I just received my “skincare fridge” from bezos and it is adorable in my bedroom. I’m also on prescription Tirz as to not make it super sus, but all my grey vials are going in there too. Which is….three…HOWEVER that number will jump drastically in the next month. It’s also very quiet (and small, holding 6 entire cans of soda wow!!) practically silent compared to my dyson air purifier. Or even my humidifier. Not to mention my bipap tbh… Hopefully it fits my pens too!

I got my "skincare fridge" about a month ago. I have vials and my pens in there. The Convipens almost don't fit but I'm making it work. The 3D printed case I printed when it was all in the household fridge will not fit. I'll probably pass that on to my Sis. So far it's great and I like having it all in there away from food and other people.

Thilose fridges don't hold consistent temperature. Peltier cooling effect is very dependent on ambient temperature. Put my govee thermometer in mine and the temperature swing is 47-39⁰, they are not a great option
