I wanted to share this because I haven't heard anyone use 5-amino-imq this way. I am usually never hungry on reta or tirz but I do get low energy especially when under 1000+ cal for the day (I have a lot to lose). Lately whenever I am low on energy I take 1-2mg (4+hrs apart) and its like my body goes, fine I'll release more fat. its not like caffeine or anything but more like I have the energy to keep pushing without that energy drop off. if you have been dieting for a long time you know the energy wall im talking about. In the trench warfare that is weightloss for me, 5-amino-imq temporarily breaks the wall. its like a quality of life booster for me when severely cutting calories

I run 5-Amino 7mg in the AM fasted daily. Love this stuff. It actually has great Synergy with Caffeine. Also, add in Mots-c every other day for quite the pick up. It is my favorite combo so far. It definitely helps with the tiredness around my Tirz's shot day.

I run NAD+ 5 days a week, and last week I started adding 5amino....WOW, it really accelerated my weight loss and energy levels. I am a big fan now. I am running a 20 day cycle.

EDIT: I'll also add here that I was running Lipo-c with B-12 for a few weeks prior to this (I stopped when I began 5Amino) and I didn't really feel any positive or noticeable effects from it, plus it BURNS bad and is not fun to inject. So 5amino is a very pleasant surprise/addition.

I just had some delivered today. I take it the pucks are suppposed to be orange?

Yes, they are supposed to be orange 🙂 These are the 10mg and 50mg cycles I use:

5-Amino-1MQ — SubQ Protocol (10 mg vial)
5-Amino-1MQ is a selective NNMT (Nicotinamide N-methyltransferase) inhibitor studied for fat metabolism support, lean muscle preservation, and elevated intracellular NAD+ levels. By blocking NNMT, it may help restore cellular energy balance and activate SIRT1 pathways. The following is a subcutaneous injection protocol for the 10 mg vial format.
Reconstitution Add 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 5 mg/mL concentration
Dosing (SubQ, once or twice daily)
PhaseDaily DoseUnits (U-100 syringe)
Days 1–2 (Tolerance)2.5 mg50 units (0.50 mL)
Days 3+ (Standard)5.0 mg100 units (1.00 mL)
BID Alternative2.5 mg × 250 units × 2 (0.50 mL each)
Quick reference: At 5 mg/mL on a U-100 syringe, 1 unit = 0.01 mL = 50 mcg
Half-life: ~3.8–6.9 hours — BID dosing recommended for more sustained NNMT inhibition
Vial yield: One 10 mg vial = 2–4 days of material at these doses
Storage

5-Amino-1MQ — SubQ Protocol (50 mg vial)
Reconstitution
Add 4.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 12.5 mg/mL concentration
Dosing (SubQ, once or twice daily)
PhaseDaily DoseUnits (U-100 syringe)
Days 1–2 (Tolerance)2.5 mg20 units (0.20 mL)
Days 3+ (Standard)5.0 mg40 units (0.40 mL)
BID Alternative2.5 mg × 220 units × 2 (0.20 mL each)
Quick reference: At 12.5 mg/mL on a U-100 syringe, 1 unit = 0.01 mL = 125 mcg
Half-life: ~3.8–6.9 hours — BID dosing recommended for more sustained NNMT inhibition
Vial yield: One 50 mg vial = 10–20 days of material at these doses

I was going to cycle mots a month then 5-amino-imq for a month to satisfy cycling guidelines and preserve muscle. I tried to make mots work, I tried ss31 for a month in prep. then with mots, 1mg 3x/week and I had miserably low energy then I tried blasting 3mg twice....way worse side effect. then I tried .33mg for 3 weeks to maybe repair my mitochondria but I just had slightly less side effects and when I went back to 1mg full negative side effects (lethargic) so now im just doing 1 month cardarine and 1 month 5-amino-imq.

I searched for a while and did not find such a great guide to dosing, so thank you! I kid you not, one site said 250mcg daily and there were reddit boys blasting (subq) 50mg 3x a day. Awesome charts!

5-Amino is amazing. Wife and I have used it for some time now as our energy booster. Part of our morning stack typically pre workout. When we do go to the gym in the afternoon or evening we dose it again for an energy booster.

I really wanted to love Mots C. I was blasting 10mg at a time. I did not get any noticeable effects from it. It has been the only peptide that I've tried that I did not get anything out of. Jealous of all the people that benefit from it. Lucky bastards...

Right there with you! AND the Mots-C leaves giant welts under my skin for days no matter what I do!

Is 5 MG the maximum dose for sub Q then, and isit taken daily? I've got 10X5mg coming, which in theory won't last very long.

Strange, I usually see 10mg or 50mg vials of 5-Amino. 5MG is the daily dosage. I split mine into a morning injection of 2.5mg and an evening injection of 2.5mg. Personally, I would only ever buy the 50mg kits as 5mg/10mg requires a lot of supplies to reconstitute for a 20 day cycle. 50mg vials only require 2X constitution and the rest can be frozen and used for later cycles.

What else are you taking in your stack? Any Reta or Tirz? Thanks for sharing your protocols, do you have similar protocols for your other compounds? Were you able to download these someplace?

Yeh your right, the 5mgs will last me 10 days. Would you say it would be worth me inventing in the 50mg ones, are the results worth it?

I am on week 12 of Tirz @ 3mg per dose. I also stack NAD+ and, for 8 weeks, BPC-157 for an injury 🙂

Here is my main source for dosing, although it's a good idea to check around for multiple sources as sometimes information is changed/updated depending on emerging research: https://peptidedosages.com/#

Well, if you already have it you might as well use it; 5mg is 5mg after all. You will probably just have to reconstitute it at 1 or 1.5 ml just to make it manageable. But moving forward, keep an eye out for the larger vials.

I'd try out the kit you have and assess if its worth it for you. I was being vague in my post because I wouldn't recommend what I actually did... but I fasted for several days and whenever I was low energy I took a 1-2mg pin. I could feel my body come back to life breaching that energy barrier. I ended up losing 11lbs this week which is not sustainable but I was stalling on reta alone (6mg/wk). anyway its a tool that I use and I think it might be extremely powerful for my body because I have so much fat to lose. I can't get any benefits from mots-c so I am glad I only bought one kit. if you got a kit of 5-amino-imq test it out and see if your body's reaction is worth the money. for me it an absolute yes

Thank you for the explanation. I have only heard of this by name. Now when I go research this I'm not going in blind.

I am currently running a month-long 1mg/day cycle to test it out. I got a real fun, itchy ISR but also an allergic reaction that could be anaphylaxis-adjacent. As someone with severe allergies and OAS, it was a familiar feeling. I’ve paired it with 500mcg KPV which has seemed to lower the reactions, however…..I don’t think I’ll continue after this vial.

Has it made me more energetic? Maybe? I’ve got 2 more weeks left before comparison to see if it affects my weight loss/fat loss at all. I’ve been tracking calories and activity levels for 2 months prior, so I’m pretty excited to see the results.
