Those who stack Reta and Tirz—do you pin same time or alternate?

I reconstituted my Reta finally today and plan to start it this weekend. Tomorrow would be my next Tirz pin (I split dose) and was wondering if I should pin my usual Tirz dose and the tiny Reta dose I plan to start with (.5) at the same time or do Reta tomorrow and Tirz on Sunday/Monday?

I just wouldn’t do Tirz and Reta on the same day, it’s easier to keep things spaced out so you can actually tell how you’re feeling with each one. Since you’re doing two Tirz pins a week, it just means spreading the three pins across the week instead of stacking them.

I stagger mine 3 days apart

Different days for me. Took 4 mg tirz today. So, usually, earliest I would inject reta would be two days from now.
Excellent thank you! What is your Reta dose by comparison?

Thats a good point I did not think about (determining sides separately). I know how I react to tirz and when that reaction kicks in, but this being my first go with Reta I should definitely keep that separate.

That sounds like a good plan. I was thinking tomorrow for Reta, maybe Sunday night for Tirz, and then Wednesday morning again for Reta but maybe I need to do Friday Monday Thursday Sunday and just keep rotating.

I pin my 2.5 tirz on Fridays, for good weekend suppression, and then Reta 1mg, which is a new addition, I am doing on Mondays. Working well so far. No nausea or odd side effects.
Thank you! I usually like the Friday for the weekends so I may copy this and wait for Monday for the first Reta pin.
On the low end still like 2 mg. Right now, I am doing a reta + ghetto reta GLP stack (like 1 mg maz, 4 mg tirz, and 2 mg reta).
Thank you! I am not familiar with that stack but I’ll have to read up on it!

I used to do every three days; different days. So T day 1, R day 2, skip, then T again etc. worked well for weightloss.
I used glp plotter to see it graphed out which is helpful.
Now I'm trying to find my maintenance dose and I extended it to every 4 days, so a skip day in between each. That works fine.

I've been doing 1mg of each 3 1/2 days apart, when doing maintenance. I guess you are overlapping 2 out of the 3 receptors, so the more time between shots possibly the better. The 1/2 life of Tirz & Reta is roughly 5-6 days each, everyone will react differently to these. I gained a little weight recently because of surgery, but once I get back to my fighting weight. I want to try 4-5 days apart at 1.5mg each and see how that works for me, just for giggles and %%$$#.

Because of delivery fiascos, I had to switch my pep pinning days. I now pin 5mg Tirz on Friday, and 8mg Reta on Monday. Cycling out Tirz after a month to see if Reta needs to go up or not.

Tirz 4.25mg reta 1.4mg every second day, about 15mg tirz and 5mg reta a week. 2nd day dosing is mainly as I started that way and never bothered to change, pretty sure I would get worse side effects if I tried bigger doses less often.
Yea I don't want to have worse sides so I don't want to go up too much either way.

Team recent surgery weight gain! I did my Tirz this morning, and will do the Reta on Monday, and then Tirz again Thurs then Reta Sunday...going to see how that goes.

I am aiming to see how I flip flop doses over time as well, because I figure Reta will eventually be the go-to for most.

I do 5mg Tirz on Tuesday and 1.5 Reta on Saturday. I played with timing on Shotzy to get alternating peaks.

yay team shotsy! I went in this morning and did a schedule where there's two days between each, so today was Tirz (actually brand name), Monday will be my first Reta, then Thursday for Tirz, and then Sunday for Reta. I hope with a few rounds of that I can see how the graphs look and adjust accordingly.

Thank you!

I was originally split dosing my Tirz, pinning twice a week so when I started Reta I split dose that too . . . and that started to feel like a lot of shots.
So I took about 3 weeks and played with those AM and PM times and a day here and a day there on Shotsy to get it to one Tirz and one Reta a week and you can see from the graph I can probably adjust further to get the peaks alternating exactly but I am happy with it for now.

Shotsy! and its free. But I was so impressed with it I paid for it making it the first app this 54 year old has paid for!
I've been using Dose Track but it's not very intuitive and my stack hasn't changed much just yet. I will be starting recomp stack in a week so it will be a good time to try another. Thanks!

This is not for everyone, you have to experiment, take note of when the food noise and hunger starts coming back with each dosage, everyone reacts different, so far every 6 days for each peptide has been working best for me with no side effects, so make sure you start on a milligram level that suits your own body, ill place my plan to give you an idea, but shouldn't be copied and only used for research, takes time to dial in your own needs to gather information on how each peptide effects you personally.

I like to plan everything to keep on top of dosages and weight in one place without using apps, so I use Outlook calendar, I get a nice reminder the day before and on the day.

What is this beautiful app?!

It really is great, and I also thought it was worth paying for once I got started.

I also started on Tirz at a split, I pinned three times a week, Sun midday, Tues evening, and Fri morning, and did that until about two months ago, when I got my first vial of Reta right before shoulder surgery that I just reconstituted yesterday to start. I moved from three times to Monday night Friday AM to start spacing it out and seeing how I did, and didn't notice any issues with the peaks/valleys that I expected I might. I just pinned Tirz this morning and then plotted out how to include Reta starting Monday morning, basically doing like Monday Reta, Thursday Tirz, Sunday Reta, Wednesday Tirz kinda thing. I am starting Reta at .5 on purpose, and will work up to 1 after a few pins. My Tirz before surgery was around 9mg per week--3 per pin, and I am moving to about 3.5 per Tirz and then maybe 1 for Reta.

That is a smart idea, I might try doing this in addition to the Shotsy app. I do track sides but need to start paying attention to the noise.

Personally, I pin both on Friday mornings. 2mg Tirz, and 1.5mg Reta. I've been thinking about staggering my doses to have the peaks of each alternate, but the way I've been doing it feels fine and has been helping me not overeat on the weekends. That's what feels good for me, though. I'm sure each person is different.

Just wanted to say thanks, all. I've been on 15mg tirz for about a year. Just pinned my first 2mg Reta yesterday. And am going to stick with tirz at half or 1/3 my normal dose (so 7.5 or 5) and think I'll follow the advice here and stagger days.

I've seen posters here like me who were on high-dose tirz for a long time say they went straight into reta at much higher doses and dropping tirz altogether, but I want to keep some tirz for food noise.

This is maybe an unuseful post, but I just wanted to say thanks for all of you asking and answering the questions I had. Appreciate it!

I pin separately, every 4 days, staggering 2 days, that way it keeps a smoother experience.
T day1, R day 3, T day5, etc so I pine every other day.

I havent heard of dosing tirz and reta alternating...whats the advantage to doing this?

I'm thinking of doing it. Well, split dosing eliminates the likelihood of food noise creeping in on the last few days of the week before the next dose. Also, tirz is supposed to have a stronger hunger suppressing effect than reta. This way you could keep the dose of both compounds low enough and maximize weight loss.

I've been doing Tirz every 5 days, I just dropped down from 7.5mg to 5mg, due to ISRs at 7.5mg. My Reta just came in this week so I took my first dose (2mg) on the same day as my Tirz. I'm feeling fine, so I think I'll keep taking both on the same day, every 5 days.

Do you mind sharing how much you pin of each? Did you start at smaller doses and titrate up? And sides?

I've been on GLP1s for over three years. 2+ years on sema at the top (wegovy) dose before switching to tirz and pinning 15mg a week for about a year (through pcp). And I've always done a little cleansing routine to keep the slow gut moving-- I do a mix of psyllium and Super Colon Cleanse and chug.

I took my very first Reta dose (2mg) a few days ago at the same time when I would have normally taken my tirz, but chose to do Reta only (and no tirz) to ease into the Reta. I took my psyllium/SCC drink last night and HOLY CRAP did I suffer. I am NOT new to GLP1s, but the stomach ache I endured for about 12 hours was nothing short of epic. Not in the good way. And I feel confident this symptom is DEFINITELY a Reta thing because this didn't happen on tirz or sema. Ever. And I was a good 11 days past my most recent tirz dose (so it was definitely the Reta). Apropos of nothing I guess. All was fine eventually, but the road to fine was fraught and painful. Which... makes me thing the Reta is REALLY working. But man oh man, word to the wise if anyone out there has a pronounced experience with that kind of blocakge. If you're like me and do some things to keep the tummies moving and clear, there may be a serious cost of admission. Take caution and go slow with the fiber stuff.
