BAC water that’s reliable

229 to 450 is a huge jump what the hell?
$450 is an outlier. But the prices did go up this week. Went to $260 at AMSCO's website, was $225 or so. But it seems things have calmed down for now.

There is a GB with a case of 25 Hospira BAC for $145 plus $15 shipping. So the cost per shipped bottle is $6.40. Won't be posting the name publicly.

Personally, I rather pay $10 a bottle for in-stock Hospira without worrying if the supplier will tell the GB they already shipped so many cases. Which has never happened, but I need something to worry about. In general, I have been slowing moving away from GBs and buying more from in-stock stateside vendors.

I agree with 95% of this, and is what I do as well. I've got all mine from Injection Shop, currently have 7-8 30 Hospira, so good for a while. I am a sucker for a GB and just got 4 R30 and a 1 R60. I just couldn't past up the price.

Vendor bac is fine. I've never seen a sealed 10 mL vial go bad before opening. Yes, quality is all over the map (amazon). Do I assume overseas peptides and BAC are sterile? Not blindly. Same with Dollar Tree vitamins... But there are more publicly documented fatalities tied to recent infant formula contamination incidents than clearly documented harm tied specifically to BAC.

Vendor bac is fine.
Endotoxin testing probably says otherwise for vendor/Chinese BAC in general, as was the case with BAC on Amazon (tested by one of the testing groups), before Amazon banned BAC.

Hospira says right on the bottle "sterile, nonpyrogenic:"

Gemini said:
A "pyrogen" is any substance (like an endotoxin) that causes a fever when it enters the bloodstream. Even if a liquid is sterile (no living bacteria), it can still contain the "skeletons" or toxic cell wall fragments of dead bacteria.

Real men use fill needles for subq anyway. Guaranteed feelz.

But seriously, I haven't tried 30G for subq yet. So will see how it goes compared to 31G. And I also got a 10-pack of 29G to try. But should be fine:
Gues I'm to clumsy to poke them skinny little needles thru the rubber stoppers. 1st time I tried I bent the needle bad. Us 2 research rats don't have any problem with being stuck with 27g or 29g sharps. Me, I'm pretty near numb and bullet proof from the ankles up...

It for sure takes a few seconds longer. Hitting dead center in the stopper is the key. Yesterdays pins went smooth, and the wife and I couldn't feel the needle. They drew and filled nice too.

For sure, but again, (not including amazon US sellers), I've never seen a china vendor batch go bad prior to opening. Similar for injection saline as well. About the same failure rate as eye drops in the USA. Does it happen, yes? Is Hosperia the best? yes.

and of course, even if you don't use the vendor bac, the glass vials are great to re-use for storing little things like a travel kit for OTC pills/ etc.

Just be careful on injection shop, thought I was buying easy touch syringes, they were just easy touch needle tips. Its my fault but seems stupid to not carry syringes.

I got lucky and bought a case 5 days ago, before the price increase from $230 to $290.

That said, they still haven't shipped it. I'm not going to be happy if they change the price on me, or cancel the order.
Status update: I did get a "shipped" email. Just under 2 weeks to ship.

I get what he's saying. I had the reverse happen with them. I ordered:

"BD™ PrecisionGlide™ Needles; Needle Gauge: 25G; Needle Length: 1" (25mm)"

What I got was 3ml syringes with 25G needles on them. Not complaining, but definitely not what I ordered.

They may have a Chud working shipping there...

1ml BA to 99ml of sterile water = 1%. The 100mL BA is enough for 10,000 mL = 10L = 2.2gallons.

This is the route I'm going to go because I just don't want to give my $ to Pfizer (ie. Hospira).
Same reason I will be making my own distilled water

For the exact preparation and storage method I was thinking of this technique:

Ingredients: x gallons of distilled water from walmart, target etc. Litre or larger Bottle of Benzyl Alcohol, Dish Soap.

Equipment: One stainless steel or Pyrex saucepan. One funnel. Extremely clean sink.

1. Clean a small already visually clean saucepan in distilled water and washing up liquid using gloves and then with a 70% solution of benzyl alcohol and 30% water.

2. Fill saucepan 90% full with and boil distilled water twice with the funnel on the stove to decontaminate saucepan fully that additionally is poured out each time into a new glass jar or bottle / lid waiting in the sink for storage of finished compound.

3. Boil 990ml in the now fully decontaminated and mostly sterile saucepan with a lid, allow it to rapidly cool in the freezer.

4. Add the 10 ml of benzyl alcohol into the aforementioned glass jar and then finally adding the boiled, distilled water and store in the fridge for a total of 1 litre bac water.

The better way is to purchase sterile water and just add the benzoyl alcohol. I think 100mL costs about $5 or so. 100mL container, everything is sterile. Light a couple candles, open the container, inject 0.9 mL into the container. You can then use another syringe to inject this solution into small sterile vials (5ml or 10 ml) and store them in the freezer until needed.

Although not 'suitable for injection', it is sterile and pyrogen free. There is no endotoxin, and no fkn around with saucepans. That 250mL volume is only $4. I suggest this method.

Per order. So I did two orders today. Got both tracking numbers.

As said before, free shipping if you hit $50, which is easy to do.

One order (with promo code "glp1forum" for the non-Hospira items):

Now up $1.50/bottle to $11.49 and on back order. Pretty soon 4 bottles will fulfill the $50 free shipping threshold, but fully expect it to be $0.04 short.😉

I used 2.25mL Benzyl alcohol to 250mL sterile water (USP) and filled as many sterile 5mL bottles I had kicking around. I didn't tear off the seal to the bottle, just poked a hole thru it using the syringe. Lots of wiping with IPA. I placed the vials in the -20°C freezer.

I used about half the bottle and the rest I checked the pH = 5.08 before tossing it out.

If you look close, you can see a weird sticker that I put on the benzyl alcohol. They came with the 5mL sterile vials; wish there had been more.

Anyhow, I got plenty of BAC now. I hit a mg (10U) of KPV afterwards, no sting or anything.

Let me know how those 29g work out. It was my wife squawking about the 30g needles, but they were just a pack of 30 I got from Amazon before I knew better or joined.
I've used 29g and also 27g many times, even after going thru rubber stoppers to draw with and then subq injecting, with no ill effects and little to no discomfort and not anything I consider pain. But then I'm mostly bullet proof. YMMV...
