Question for the US: how are you all so calm about long-term freezing?

Just put the kids in the freezer. Problem solved! I....obviously don't have kids....

ugh...I have to be careful making jokes about kids. I don't want to be reported. These days people are such snowflakes. I had ten different fabulous responses to your comment! Lol

I had cps show up at my house because I let my 6 year old cross our rural country road to get the mail. A Karen drove by, stopped and came up to me fuming. A week later cps shows up. They could tell right away that we were a waste of their time but still had to follow up. Didn't even open a case though and ended by asking us to consider signing up for foster care. People are idiots these days.

Lucky. My kids have been hanging out in the freezer for popscicles several times a day. Times five kids. I need to move my peps to my basement meat freezer. It gets opened a few times a week.
Five kids… that freezer never stood a chance 🙂‍↔️

Freeze thaw instability is really about recon’d peptides, and mostly for non tirz. Lyophilized peps don’t change phase in and out of freezer so they don’t stress the molecules
Definitely, that’s more relevant for reconstituted but I don’t really see myself freezing reconstituted vials.
By the way, what’s the name of that beautiful ginger cat in your avatar? Is it a gentleman or a lady? I want to publicly confess that I’m completely cat-dependent 🙄

I keep my vials in the freezer inside an insulated bag with some ice blocks and a lot of silica gel packs. Provided the freezer isn't open during a power outage, they should be fine for a while.

That sounds like a solid setup. I’m definitely feeling more relaxed about it now lol

Did you miss the punchline also?😂

I’m 40 next month, Ai suggests with my blood work, Dexa scans, bp monitoring, etc, I’m on track to make it to 85-92.

I need to buy another decade to be covered to the high side estimate at max trial dosing 😂.

I may have some consumption variables coming that will better rationalize my supply.
I did, and should've known better knowing you. bash.gif
Oh, do tell on that last part.

That cat is Bacon! He’s a larger sized ginger who chose us about 10 years ago. Cats are my weakness too

I’m always happy to “show off” my little tribe, apologies in advance to anyone forced to witness this off‑topic chaos lol.

The first picture is… not exactly award‑winning, but it’s the only one where I managed to capture all three of my household overlords in a single frame. A historical event, basically.
My Persian still suffers immensely, years later, from the arrival of the two strays. He can’t tolerate them for more than 30 seconds. I feel bad for him, I really do, and yes, we tried everything, including a cat therapist. Naturally, nobody wanted to adopt the girls, so guess who kept them. Exactly.

The second photo is my fourth cat, also a stray, but he chose the “feral forever” lifestyle package. I’ve been feeding and caring for him for 11 years, yet I have NEVER managed to pet him (unless he was unconscious, which apparently doesn’t count). He’s FeLV‑positive, but with meds and proper food he’s doing his dramatic ups‑and‑downs routine.
We found him with a broken tail, trapped him with a cage, and later had to remove all his teeth in two separate surgeries — also with the cage, because trust is for other species. After everything he’s been through, he now trusts humans exactly zero.

We built that heated little house you see in the photo, and he lives outside in front of the building like the local cryptid. I’d love to have a house with a garden just for him. He’s now a majestic 11kg/24lbs unit

I think people might have misread my post, or misread the intentions of my post. Most people have replied to is justifying why they take peptides and their reason for that - I'm not questioning that whatsoever, at all, I'm taking them myself. I was curious why people buy years and years worth when they have been so easily accessible for such a long time and seem continue to be so, or is that not the case?.
Because it actually hasn't been so easily accessible. When I started taking wegovy I got it retail with no insurance coverage .. it cost $500 for 4 doses. That was at the BEGINNING dose. So I found the grey market to tackle the long term affordability problem.

This year our family insurance plan has jumped in price and the co-pay for my husband's prescription of ozempic that he takes for his diabetes jumped to $100 a month. Yes, you read that right .. $100 a month WITH insurance coverage. Last year it cost $25. He now dips into my supply of grey market semaglutide.

What Mr Persian needs is a touch of Selank! (Jk jk) Your little gang of household overlords look very well cared for, and the feral but accepts your offerings cow certainly is looking healthy! Nice pick me up, thanks for sharing!

Damn, Selank. Can’t believe I didn’t think of that. It would probably fix everything.
Thanks! The overlords approve, and the feral‑cow keeps collecting offerings like it’s a personal cult 🙄
