Was there a recent change in the content filter for this site?

I used to occasionally get this pop-up

Now I seem to be getting it with about 50% of the posts and replies that I submit to this site. For longer replies I could understand that maybe I accidentally used a naughty word, but I'm even getting it for short 1-2 sentence messages.

Yesterday I tried to issue this response and despite rephrasing it several times couldn't get the text to be accepted. I'm pretty sure there's nothing prohibited in the text of my response:

In the end I just replied with an image of the text because I didn't feel like experimenting further with how the text was phrased.

Then this morning I wrote this response, which was accepted without an error message.

After submitting the reply, I noticed a typo. I had keyed the word "level" instead of "lever." I tried to edit the post to change that single letter and the site refused with that same pop-up message.

Is everyone running into this now or did I just luck into it myself somehow?

Yes. I'm getting it a lot. And when I look at what I said, it's something innocuous or not breaking any rules or even coming close, and I try one or twice to guess at what word combined with what word did it, but after that I walk away.

Absolutely the same experience here, it's incredibly frustrating.

Yes, I am having to retype my responses numerous times,phrasing things 5 different ways to get them to go through. It is definitely frustrating.

I got that and the spam one a lot before I made Apprentice often for reasons that made no sense. Sometimes I'd try and submit something several times and it woild go back and forth between the two messages then suddenly let me post it. I haven't seen it since but there is a bug somewhere.

They have the Word Nanny cranked up to a 10, but I see people posting words that I'm getting censored for. I don't cuss much, so it's weird.

I think that's exactly what it is.

Perhaps there's some internal metric that groups people into different categories and for the "extra awesome" group they recently flipped a switch by mistake that put us at the highest level of moderation. 🤣

Just a few days ago I got it for like 6 attempted posts in a row. No idea what could have been flagging it, post didn't in any way reference any prohibited items I could see.

Someone with a "great" sense of humor can make every single time the word "3GG" is posted turn into "Chicken Embryo", but I can't post a simple reply to someone asking a question.

(Irrelevant side post: News flash; It's not. To quote the great legal mind of our time, Ketanji Brown Jackson, "I'm not a biologist", but even I know what you buy in the grocery store is unfertilized, and therefore not an embryo.
