I finally bit the bullet and bought the expensive hospira bac, I could only find 30 ML. I have read multiple times to discard after 30 days. I will only go through about 5 ML in that time. Did I just pay 25$ per vial to use 1/6 and throw the rest away or are you guys keeping these for longer? I figured maybe I could transfer it to fresh vials to make it last longer but id like to know if you guys are actually sticking to this 1 month expiration. Peptide research is an expensive hobby, might need to start an onlyfans

I have the same approach as other posters above. I have no problem using BAC for 90 days and I also use a vial spike like 5byfive does. I store it in a 3D printed tall BAC box like shown in this example.

If I’m in the 3rd month on it, then I probably won’t use it to recon a fresh vial of reta, for example, because a vial of that lasts me quite a while. So whatever you decide your line is for how long you’ll use a bottle of BAC, keep your overall time in mind (# days your BAC itself has been open and # days it’ll take you to use whatever compound you’re reconstituting).

I keep mine for 90 days. So far so good.

And $25 for one bottle is crazy. $10/bottle from Injection Shop. I think they’re currently on backorder but check em out. They’re a forum sponsor.

This is the way.

Link appears dead? Just opens a blank web browser page on Safari (MacBook). Right mouse "Search with Google" gives me a Google search of the words "This Example"....

I've always used my Hospira BAC to empty. Last one went close to 7 months. My current one is at about 4 months. I keep them in a kitchen drawer. This is water after all. Good luck with your research!

I use a vial access spike on mine. Let's you draw from the bottle without puncturing the top multiple times.

Happen to have a picture of it on the vial. I've been tossing this around.

Link doesn't work.

That's what I was thinking.

I just tossed the vial I opened on 1/9/26 and cracked a new one. My general guideline is 90 days, but that doesn’t mean reconstitute a long lasting vial on day 89 and keep the reconned vial another 60 or whatever days.

Time wise I’ll get 4 R60 vials from this vial, enough for 105 days. I’ll stop using the vial when I recon the last R60. Hopefully I’ll be trying some new things between now and then.

I dropped 40lb and took 60mg of BPC with that $10 vial of BAC, heck of a deal.

Where is the chart from @RetCurious ?
Found it posted on STG, I'd guess it was from their testing server that got nuked.
How is this BAC stored?
As noted in the graphic, 2 were stored at room tempt, one was refrigerated.
In a sealed bottle?
One would assume? I've never seen it not in a sealed bottle.
It keeps mentioning air removed for testing, not sure. Where are the error bars?
It states air was added.
What error bars are you referring to?

Hospira is allowed to recon my test materials only to the usage limit of the peptide 90 days once the H is cracked open.

I dip into the H vial for up to 60 days.

I just received spikes and covers. Not Curos. It's a short spike with a wide base. I have seen vial cases for the tall spike but not for the short wide one. I'm not at home to photograph them.
Would those be worth it drawing from a reconned vial with a 8mm needle for shots? Although I had no issues again today with the 31g 8mm.

I don't see much value to vial spikes in general, but for drawing your daily dose, they would be slower/more hassle/more expense having to use a luer lock barrel and needle vs an insulin syringe.

Captain Buzzkill strikes again. I wanted to like vial spikes when I started, but didn't love what I read about them for my applications so I let the feeling wane.
Nah, There was a short time when I got the 31g 8mm that was a bitch. I have it down now, I need to make sure I hit the center of the stopper. 31s bend easy.

What error bars are you referring to?
from samples, like 3 samples will create a standard deviation which is used to show error margins. Anyhow,

The reason I asked is I'd assume it was opened bac, but if it's sealed, from a supplier, I'd think it would last longer than 3 months.

Seems to me it would lessen the likelihood of coring for vials I am in and out of often. Hospira? Maybe. GHK-Cu? Most likely.
