Drop Your Numbers

At 1mg Reta, you’re still at a pretty low dose, so it’s not surprising you’re not seeing much movement yet. Some people don’t really respond until they titrate up.

If everything else (food, activity) has been consistent, I’d just call this a holding pattern not a setback. 😃
Thanks. Yeh i might increase for next dose to 1.5mg or 2mg.

SW 99.7kg (Jan 2023)
This was the wake up call that things have gotten out of hand. That 100kg number looming I thought was so ridiculous yet there I was. Went to the doctor and started on phentermine, stayed on that til end of July. Lost 15kgs.
Sometime after that I started Sema.
LW 69.7kg (April 2024) 30kg loss in 15 months
During 2024 I lost my way a bit and crept back up to 81kg then worked my way back down to 74kg by the end of the year, I do believe there may have been supply issues as I didn't know about grey at that stage.
May 2025 I was 70kg again, then Dec 2025 hit 76kg and decided I needed to get serious again.
Discovered grey and this community in January and I am back on the wagon.
CW 70.5kg
GW 68kg
2.5kg to goal weight, but I guess I would really call it reassess priorities weight.

F36 if that helps.

That’s a really solid run. And honestly, the fact you pulled it back down after creeping up is huge. Most people don’t.

You’ve basically shown you can lose it, gain a bit, and then rein it back in. That matters more than just a straight drop.

At this point (70.5 to 68), it’s not really about “pushing harder.” It’s just dialing things in and staying consistent. Those last couple kilos are always slower and a bit more stubborn.

Also sounds like some of that regain wasn’t just you, as supply/consistency issues will mess anyone up.

You’re close enough now that it’s almost less about the number and more about where you feel good and can stay without fighting it all the time.

2.5kg is nothing compared to what you’ve already done. You’re basically there.

Keep up the great work!

SW: 260
CW: 172
Timeframe: July ‘25 to today
Protocol: 1 month of compound Tirz at 2.125 mg, then grey Tirz one month each at 3.5, 5, 5, and I’ve been at 6 mg since November ‘25.

GW: 160 eventually, if I stay at 172 for a long time that’s probably for the best. Man this sure does feel weird when I look in the mirror. Who tf is this? I’m now trying to decide how to go about attempting to reduce the dose.🤔

That's a crazy good run. Dropping from 260 to 172 in that time is no joke. And yeah... that "who tf is this" feeling is real. Takes a while for your head to catch up with what you're seeing.

On the goal 160 vs staying around 170 you've got the right mindset. If 172 feels good and you can actually live there without fighting it all the time, that's worth more than chasing another 10 Ibs just because.

On lowering the dose, most people do better easing down instead of dropping hard.
Goal finding the lowest dose where things don't slide backwards. You've already done the hard part. Now it's just figuring out what "normal" looks like for you at this weight.

Thanks for sharing your journey. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it!

Keep up the great work!

“That’s a crazy good run” - you have no idea how good it feels to hear that from a stranger! Thank you. I have to tell myself that yeah, I did just lose that much weight. It feels so weird to lose that much without all the pain, suffering and failures.
Thanks for the kind words and positive encouragement! 😁

Thanks man. You’re a star.

For sure, I don’t consider it a ‘push’ now. Definitely about dialing it in and finding a routine/balance.

That’s what this group is for, encouragement, to help and support, and giving credit where it’s due. You put in the work and it shows. Sometimes it takes hearing it from other people before it really sinks in. 😁

Btw, the name is not “Stranger” it’s “Danger1212” 😎 J/k…

Keep up the great work, you got this!

I noticed that!

I have been taking a “low and slow” approach to dosing, and going up only when I feel the food noise reduction start to lessen. I started at 1mg for the first 5 weeks, then went up to 2mg for 4 weeks, now on 3mg for the 2nd week.

I am aiming to keep going up by 1mg every 4-5 weeks, and hoping to cap out at 6mg, if I even need to go that high.

This is my first run through with all of this so just listening to my body really.

The food noise reduction has been profoundly effective for me, and my diet has helped keep me regular, so no real side effects happening. At this point I don’t think I’ll need to go up much higher before I hit my goal, but we’ll see.

Overall I’m just blown away by the efficacy.

You sound like you have a solid plan in place! I am going pretty hard into the exercise routine, which honestly, may be the wrong approach, as it mimics past weight cycles where I go all in and then stop because it’s unsustainable longterm… I told myself this journey would be about building sustainable habits… I don’t see myself continuing this routine weekly forever. But feeling great so very happy right now.

Lots of luck and success to you on your research journey!

I Started Reta research at 2 mg and I’m coming up on week 4. I’m still undecided whether to follow the Lilly 2–4–6 titration or just increase as needed. So far I’m losing about 2.5 lbs per week, which feels pretty optimal. I do go back and forth after reading posts about glucagon effects at higher doses and people saying the “sweet spot” is 6–8 mg, but it’s hard to argue with the results I’m getting right now.

Sides: No issues with food noise, but I am wide awake after about 4 hours of sleep 🫨

I too am honestly blown away by how well this works.

Adding workouts seems to take it to another level. I’ve definitely been guilty of turning my home gym into a second job, but like you said, settling into a sustainable 3–4 day per week routine feels like the right move.

Appreciate you sharing. I’m still an excited newbie here trying to soak it all in.

Best of luck to you, and looking forward to seeing how your journey progresses!
I'm new here and just starting out. This low and slow approach was exactly how i planned to go into it. There are so many ways people make it work for themselves and it's had me questioning my plans so it's good to see success from my origianl thoughts. When it comes to working out I tend to go all out for a little while and then fall into a pit of nothingness. WIth that being the case I'm trying to implement slow changes in that regard too hoping they can stick.

@Danger1212 you're words of encouragement to everyone are awesome but not only that you do have me rethinking my goals. Instead of a number looking more at how I'm feeling with of course my feeling being based on no more love handles , back rolls or gut, aches and pains etc.

Here are my starting numbers. Looking to make first purchase soon, starting with Reta

That's an interesting and unconventional strategy. Have you noticed a decrease in the efficacy/had to increase the dose?

What's the advantage over steady state?

Start date: March 27 2026

Protocol:
  • First 5 weeks: 2.5mg Tirz /week.
  • Starting from week 6: 2.5mg Tirz + 1mg Reta /week.

Planning to stay on this dose for as long as possible. Once I hit GW I will experiment microdosing for hunger suppression but no weight loss. Around that time I will probably start with other stacks to focus on longetivity and biohacking.

That’s solid progress in a pretty short amount of time. 27 lbs down since March is no joke, especially on relatively low Tirz doses. Sounds like the 3mg is treating you well so far. Keep it rolling 👏

14 lbs in under a month is a crazy good start. Sounds like the Reta is kicking in nicely already. Nice work 👏
Lmk how the Tesa stack goes.

70 lbs in 8 months with Reta. I actually started in September, but didn't get the scale until October. I've changed my goal from 200>195>190 lbs. Almost there. I've been as high as 12 mg weekly and I'm now at 10 mg. I'll add Cagri if more appetite suppression is needed, but I haven't yet and I respond great to Reta.

You've already got the right mindset going into this. The"all in then burn out" cycle is something a lot of us can relate to, and slow sustainable changes usually end up working best long term.

I'm glad my posts have helped a little too. Honestly, shifting the focus away from just a number on the scale was a big change for me mentally. Feeling better, less aches and pains, more energy, clothes fitting different, losing the gut/back rolls; that stuff started mattering more than chasing some exact number.

And starting low/slow with Reta is a solid plan. No reason to rush it. Plenty of people are having great success without pushing huge doses right away.

You've got a good starting point and a good attitude about it. Looking forward to following your progress 👊

Once you get started make sure to come back and drop your progress!

Ho hum . . . so many success stories. I remember back in the old days (2 years ago) when all of this success was amazing. All I can say is thank goodness success is now boring.
