Paranoid crypto tips and random opsec thoughts

Honestly I have never collected large amounts of crypto or from various people for payment purposes, only sigle buyers. I would still use Cake. But if you are running a business and invoicing and all that jazz you might want some commercial sofware to manage that.

Not a business or especially large amounts. I work in a casino environment and people are frequently looking to exchange crypto or online $ for cash / chips. So you're saying it would be pretty safe to exchange my cash for someone's crypto into a Cake wallet and then use the same wallet for pep purchases?

Thats hard to say but if you do it right, yeah, your wallet will never be associated with your name and the only person who will know it's yours is the person you bought it from. Unless, of course, they tell someone. But then someone else would have to believe them. And by then maybe you've spent the coins, who knows who the next wallet belongs to.

Just be smart and generate a new receiving address for each person. That way when the other party looks at the blockchain they only see the funds they sent you

That’s all great, let’s just say your crypto transaction is truly ‘untraceable’ you’re using burner numbers for telegram, WhatsApp and and discord. Separate laptop with a Linux OS only used on public WiFi over Tor browser etc. as soon as you place an order there has to be a physical address to receive that product. It’s not getting dropped off by a drone or clandestine delivery boy at some obscure location. It’s coming right to your door or someone connected to you is receiving it. No real way around that. Even if you’re paying for a P.O. Box so you can limit your KYC exposure to the vendor, the transactions to minimise the possibility of you losing money/wallets to confiscation or TOS violations etc. But not sure how you get around that final step in the end. Also, all these steps add cost, complexity and a whole lot of time to the process. At which point does it all just become so onerous that paying ‘the man’ his pound of flesh and getting ‘legitimate’ peptides is just easier and costs the same? - Don't get me wrong I’m all about this and want to learn as much as I can to be smart about protecting myself. But if my financial cost of buying grey, then 3rd party testing - not to mention the extensive time delay waiting on CofA’s to validate the product, filtering and reconstitution supplies etc etc. eventually it’s just not worth the hassle…

first I want to thank you for this post. it's very clear and useful for a noob like me 😁

I am still struggling with the concept of generating a new receiver key for each transaction. 😥

my current flow is:

1. transfer USD via debit card to PayPal

2. buy PYUSD (eth) in PayPal

3. xfer that PYUSD to Exodus

4. pay vendor from exodus

so my question is every time I use the receive function in exodus it gives me the exact same PYUSD eth key...is this where you suggest I generate a new key? can you tell us how to do that?

Ethereum uses an account based model, not UXTO like BTC which is why it's bad for this space. Exodus wallet appears to have the ability to generate fresh BTC addresses so that should work. Research the difference between UXTO and account bases coins. Picrel below to get you started.

ok thanks so much. so just to confirm. that is what you mean when you say to use a different receiver id when sending the crypto from PayPal to my exodus wallet?

eventually it’s just not worth the hassle…
The hassle is usually only once, for example when you buy a kit, it will probably last a whole year(many buy years worth at a time).

So when you measure this against the self-pay from EL than you have to refill constantly in order to not get the price increase, or got to your pharmacy monthly.

It’s a little confusing at first. You can pay for the convenience at many different levels. I could afford to buy the EL goods, however the amount I save for the amount of time I spend makes it a lot more than what I earn at my job. Lilly would charge $600 with the self pay for what I get for $30 every month. That’s $6840 a year I could spend on something else, for a little inconvenience.

Don’t get me wrong, I was just being my pessimistic ranting self is all… I’d likE to really do what @mybodyisasewer is recommending. I’d also like to know if there are any good ideas about the receive your packages anonymously side of things, I’m sure someone has come up with a brilliant idea on this, just not me 😏 I’ve been dragging my heels on the crypto setup so I just had to refill my Reta 60mgx4 for $550 so not terrible but definitely not grey market pricing. But now I’ve got some time between my next purchase to get my act together and make a proper purchase
