I think we should lure smiter into the woods and whip his ass.

Not enough to break anything, just so that he knows we mean business!

I noticed he was around viewing other threads today. I looked a couple of times, because I was curious why he hadn't commented here yet. That was a few hours ago, before he changed his profile settings so it can only be viewed be specific users.

I can see why this thread might be coming off as bullying @Smiter, if that's what you mean. Personally, I'm just genuinely interested in how he has made over 1000 posts in under 6 weeks (especially if he can't post for several hours at a time because he's at work), why those posts are sometimes nonsensical, and why he has not yet shown any activity in this thread.
 
It was meant to be a pretty light hearted post but it seems to have revealed a lot of animosity towards him some of which is probably pretty fair. I don't think there is anything malicious in his posting (although he has handed out some pretty questionable advice to some new people). It would be nice if he dialed it back from 1 though.

Ultimately, I don't want to hurt his feelings or drive him away and the post was not intended to be mean spirited

Some of his posts seem heavy on the toxic masculinity, and have specifically referred to women as the other type of people, or something like that. But not all of them, so you probably missed the ones making it clear he's a male.

In the army, I guess it would be the same thing as a blanket party. I've known a few troops that needed some tuning up. But, I ain't mad at the guy. I just havent been around long enough to get annoyed by him. I mean, he's only got me by 3 days and 1,070 posts.

I kinda think we should do this more often. Like once a week, do a random pick of someone from the top twenty posters for the week and full on slam book em. It's not a matter of morality for me, I just wanna watch the world burn once a week or so.

Yea I know it wasn’t meant to be but it did take a kind of mean spirited turn. I don’t care either way about the ignore thing, to each their own. He writes similarly to my ex, so I’m presuming a gamer who works as some sort of IT professional, who is really easily excited by a new hobby and dives in with both feet. 🤷‍♀️ I just appreciated that he’s also a Bariatric patient who has a recovering shoulder! Politically I can tell we are polar opposite, but that seems to be the case for me with most people.

While I assume this is in jest, doing that would drive a lot of people who might be valuable contributors away. I’m too old for drama.
