No hand holding, but…

I asked ChatGPT questions, ignored its answers, and demanded it cough up links. That's how I found this forum. But even when it lied about answers (which I assumed it always was), it usually gave me enough context to know what to search or Google.

I’m a little overwhelmed with all the information here! I’ve never had to do any injection like this before my girlfriend talked me into it. I even had a fear of needles before overcoming that and injecting myself with Reta for the first time about a month ago. I admit it’s silly to start injecting myself without researching beforehand but now I’m playing catch up.

It’s been decades since I took chemistry and even while scrolling through a bunch of your posts I find myself lost in a sea of acronyms. I’ve thought maybe I could just start googling everything that I read here but I got to thinking if there was a more efficient way to learn. I lean on AI a lot but I’m not sure I trust it plus it seems like it’s giving me more PC answers now.

Since we all were new once, how did you all learn the most efficiently? Trial and error? Is there a FAQ or guide that covers much of the basics here that I haven’t found yet? I’m willing to do the work, I’d just like to know where to start.

I think there's been a little of this and a lot of that, I've had my trails, but I've been reading a lot, and listening to others about there experiences and also I read the pedia all about them, I look up random science research info and try and remember stuff I forgot in school, but researchingbthings myself, and knowing my own things for my own body every BODY is different and everyone doesn't always have the same reaction, I have a lot of issue that slows my journey down, i try not to get discourage all I can do is work on what's best for men and what can help me. Do what u can researchingbtheresbalot of value able apps and tools that people will share. I enjoy looking it up, ask my work i am late almost every day since I wake up to read go to bed reading and got me some flash cards to test myself on my knowledge to pass my own test and get my degree in learning new things.

I started a few months ago and was on the same boat. I found a few forums and then this youtube channel helped me understand the very basics.

Once I saw that video, and the rest of theirs, I downloaded a few documents to read - my favorite is called "Peptide Encyclopedia" - I still use it for reference. I attached it.
When I figured out which peps caught my attention, I goodled everything I could and then stumbled upon this forum (and others). I used the search feature here for more info and anectdotal experiences.
After having made some overpriced purchases from domestic resellers (before this forum), I decided to take the plunge and learn crypto to order from the sellers here.
Good luck on your pep journey!
Thank you for that information. I can now share this with those just learning about peptides.

Stick to a few peps that you’re considering. You’ll find sources of info to trust. When your interests expand, you’ll have sources to refer to. Bookmark every site that you like.

Get your supplies. Your vial of peptide. Your bacteriostatic water. Your 3 ml syringe for reconstituting. Your insulin needles for injecting. Your alcohol prep pads.

Lots and lots of reading. Watching videos. Peptide calculators. Even ChatGPT is helpful. You can tell it…I have a 20 mg vial of a peptide and I want to draw up a 1 mg dose on an insulin needle. I’m mixing it with 3 ml of bac water what do I pull the insulin needle to…

Even then I would recheck myself with a peptide calculator. I would use my own math skills to confirm as well.

And make sure you know the difference between milligrams and micrograms and the abbreviations as well.

Check and double check before you even think about doing anything the first time.

When you become competent it will be super easy and less scary. But the thought of overdosing yourself and getting sick really is scary.

Read read read. Watch videos. Calculate in many ways. Make sure you don’t get your milligrams and micrograms mixed up.

Practice what you are going to do.

Good luck!

There's a lot of decent information at https://peptidedosages.com/

However, I prefer this calculator https://www.joyapp.com/peptides/

You're welcome! The creator is the admin/owner of another forum that is super knowledgeable. His story is real interesting, too. He got really sick decades ago while backpacking through Southeast Asia and discovered peps over 20 years ago (when most people had no clue) so he started that group.

So, then, what does your research say? Which ones of these are worth doing? Can some be combined into single shots? Or is mixing peptides not a thing?

I read a lot (and still do; I'm not a long-timer by any stretch of the imagination ). I read. I search online. I search in this forum and in other SM'ish places, I ask questions when my searching and reading don't give me the answers or I don't understand the ones I'm getting.

I like to look to more than one source. I visit here, 2 other forums that shall remain nameless, Reddit (even though most of that is garbage, I have found a gem or two), and I try to connect with other people. I do not rely on AI. One person's word for something is not gospel. Doesn't matter how loud they say it, how large their audience, or how long they're active in this space. Everything - for me - needs to be verified.

I started TRT about 5 years ago, so I did my research on injection methods, supplies, site rotation, dosage etc then. I started sourcing HCG grey back then, around the time it was reclassified as a biological and US compound pharmacies had to get licensing and it was hard to find.

That was my first peptide I needed to reconstitute, store, learn how to purchase overseas in the lowdown etc.

In regards to peptides, I cycle my interests. One season it may be bodybuilding, another season stocks and investing, another season esoteric and spiritualism etc… and tend to nerd out when I do.

Last fall peptides came up and someone at my gym was ordering from well known domestic suppliers so I followed suit. As I learned about more compounds, efficacy, dosage, stacks etc. it became quite clear that it wasn’t economically feasible to pursue this with the current setup.

On Reddit I noticed someone saying they were making bank ordering in bulk and setting up a resell website. So naturally, I thought if they could get it cheap, so could I. I also like puzzles and mysteries, so I paid attention to what people said between the lines and dug through as many communities, videos, and sellers as I could find to aggregate the best data to take a poke. I also read as many scam posts as I could find, endotoxin warnings, community members holding people accountable etc.

I am pinning 500mcg CJC with 500mcg DSIP at night (and getting incredible sleep). I am also pinning 500mcg MotsC, and 500mcg KPV in the morning (for inflamation and energy) plus 400mcg TB500 in the morning as well.
My doses are low because I am a hyper responder.
I stopped Kisspeptin because I didn't feel it did much. I also have a freezer full of other peps I plan to cycle (GHK-Cu, BPC, 5amino, SS31).
I stack them in the same syringe but some you cannot (GLPs you have to pin alone).
I attached a document that explains stacking and mixing of peps do's and don'ts. Take a look at it - it's a good read.

So - how does this work? You incrementally draw from different vials into the same syringe? Reuse the same needle, or a new one for each vial?

This is great! Thanks.
You're welcome. I pull the units I need from 1 vial, then go to the next vial and pull with the same syringe. Because the vials have vacuum, they can pull your syringe fluid into the vial. To avoid this, I pull some air into the syringe before I go to the second vial (in case it pulls, it only pulls air). This prevents the first peptide from being sucked into the second vial and getting mixed. Hold the vial upside down, too - so the air you sucked into the syringe is at the top. Once you have both peps in your syringe, keep the needle pointing up to expel the air so you can pin.
I hope that makes sense.

Is this is not an issue? Having dipped that needle into the first peptide, does it not contaminate the second one if you reuse the needle? Is that how people usually do it?
You can clean the needle with an alcohol wipe. I do it that way and have seen others do it, too. It may not be the best way but I am definitely not pinning so many times. You can do each one separately if that makes you more comfortable, but I think it's fine. Pens might also be an option since they are more convenient and you only use a new needle for each pin (not a whole syringe).

I do like the Pep-pedia site...HOWEVER a quick read on Tirz shows me a couple of things that I believe have been debunked so I can't take it as gospel-just as a reference. Here's a couple things on Tirz: "NEVER shake vigorously as this destroys the protein" ( I believe Jano dispelled this as BS ) and "store at correct temperature ( 2-8*C ), protected from light NEVER FREEZE..." I believe we've now learned reconstituted CAN BE FROZEN and keep it's viability.
Also a question as I'm not certain that I'm remembering THIS properly: Can't unreconned/lypholized Tirz simply be STORED out of light and heat? I mean NOT necessary to refrigerate, no? 🤔

I'm definitely going to try/attempt this-putting air in the syringe to prevent what's already in it being sucked into the next vial. Great tip...if it works! 🤪

Awe 🙄 sheet. Nope. Did not work. Started sucking the pep in the syringe once the 20 units of air was sucked from the syringe. Maybe a WAY larger amount of air in the syringe would have... but damn it! 🤨🤪
Oh no! Try holding the plunger. The little air gives you at least a lilttle more time to react before it gets to sucking in liquid.

Would it be easier to just stick a venting needle in? I mean, instead of playing this game of "is the air I put in enough"?

Yes, I think that would work. I just found that the air trick worked for me so I don't have to use more supplies.

Read everything, from here to Reddit and watched a ton of YouTube videos on different peptides.
