Reta is crazy!

1lb of fat is around 3500 calories. So be aware of the weight you lose as unless you're running marathons without eating it's unlikely that the calories your body needs in a day will equal the weight loss you see at the beginning. You will shed excess water weight and glycogen from your muscles first and that will account for a lot of the early weight loss.

Just don't be worried when that starts to slow down, and don't be tempted to just ramp up the dose chasing it again. If you do you will build tolerance quicker and might start hitting side effects you shouldn't need to deal with.

If you can lose 1 to 2 lbs per week consistently then you've hit the sweet spot. Just live there for as long as it takes to get to your goal.

One of the mods on the J5 platform. Somebody just asked a couple days ago in there in inventory or something.
Thank you. The way some people act in their frenzy to buy I don't blame them... it also makes it easier to understand why scammers are attracted to those spaces.

This is the info I came for. Basically, the honey moon phase eh?
You're doing everything right. Just don't get discouraged if the weight doesn't come off as quickly over the next few weeks. The first 10–14 days are usually the fastest because ur depleting ur glycogen stores and dropping a lot of water weight.
After that, the real fat loss starts. Losing 1–1.5 lbs per week of actual fat is more awesome, and if u can maintain that pace, u will end up looking much better than if u try to lose weight faster. Most of these aggressive diets lead to big muscle loss as well (which in case ur not doing weightlifting, will be even more noticable).

So keep focusing on losing fat, not muscle. Trust the process. When you eventually start reverse dieting, ur glycogen stores will fill back up, ur muscles will go from looking flat to looking full and pop, and u will be glad you stayed patient

Even Calm Logic asked me about that stuff. He has their R24. I'm telling you, but you likely know. It just feels different. I'm normal today, but damn it leaves feelings.

It's good reta for sure but not much different than what I get from BFF.
Scored a kit of BioChem's R30 this week, has the same red caps as the MLB R24 not that it means anything.
I'll see how it hits once I'm through the MLB currently loaded in my pen.

I've found that the honeymoon phase to come in waves.

Month 1, I was definitely feeling the reta but saw literally 0 progress at the scale. Up to that point, I had felt great about how much less I was eating. That realization that I haven't moved a single pound in a month really put me on a downer, but I kept pinning.

Month 2, I lost 14 lbs. That was the start of honeymoon phase 2.

I feel like you never really get over seeing yourself getting skinnier, assuming you're someone who has had trouble losing weight in the past.

You know, I heard BFF's is similar from a few people and yet to try it. I have 10 R60, and 70 R30 from Binh. 2-R30 are next up. My wife is on this stuff too, same dose. I believe I have 3 left of this R50. I have that R140 from BioChem from a WW GB. Only 1 kit, I figured that was enough to struggle through. Ordered/paid 4/19 and closed 5/11.

I've tried MLB, BFF and TCI Reta. I had different feelz with each of them. BFF stung when injecting but did its job. TCI was great and I lost many lbs the months I was on it. Switched to MLB a couple of months ago and just got to my goal weight; however, I find I get more nauseating mornings on MLB. Still on the MLB but just started titrating down my doses. 215lbs to 140lbs since Aug of 2025. Goal achieved! Now to find the maintenance dose that works for me. I don't want to go below 140lbs.

Female? Not that it matters. I have 5-6 lbs to go and need to find a maintenance dose. Currently on 8mg, and was thinking 4mg. Going to be an experiment I guess.

Yes, 56 F - max dose on Reta was 4mg, twice a week. 8mg total as well. That was my sweet spot and I stayed on that dose for several months. I just pinned down to 2.5mg twice a week and will see how that goes.

Make sure protein intake is sufficient. Especially true if you’re 50+.

Can definitely tell the difference between the 2 Ive taken. 1st no side effects & very slow loss. New one, we can feel it a bit when going in & works better. No appetite at all (but do also take Tirz)

Congrats on reaching your goal! 🎉
There was a BFF batch last year that was stinging but that issue was addressed and it's been good since. I've noticed some burping and a little skin sensitivity on the MLB. I had just increased my dose and it was mostly resolved in a couple of weeks. My suspicion is that BFF and BioChem have above average access to materials and technology.

I've haven't tried BioChem, but will when the R140 gets here from a GB. I have 8 kits of BFF, and haven't tried that either. That's the next one I mix. I've had numerous members tell me he has good stuff.

I forgot about that... something to do with the binder/filler, wasn't it?
Sounds right, no big deal they made it right with everyone involved and fixed their recipe.
The only reta I've taken is from Bff, ~263mg and counting. No stinging for me.
Consistent, professional service and product, the gold standard in a grey world.
The only reason I've tried others is curiosity about product quality.

Thanks! and agreed, a bit more skin sensitivity on the MLB. Nothing terrible, but it's there. I'm going to finish my current vial of MLB and switch back to TCI. Even at the lower dose, the morning hurls are not fun on MLB. Funny how we all can react so differently on Reta.

I have a ton of his stuff, like 8kits I like the guy. His tests all come back good. His pucks are something. I'll mix two R30 next round. I think there's 3 doses left. Looking forward to trying it.

Every time I think I'm starting to get a handle on what's what, regarding the market, I read a post like that realize I don't know s***

I just thought reta was reta, but I'm still using the overpriced singles i bought from a, "reputable US vendor." 😂🤔😭

It's kind of exciting to know there might be a better quality stuff out there because...yeah. when I read other people's experiences I think maybe I ridiculously overpaid for something that was below decent standards
