Every single day I’ve been getting them. They taste so nasty!! I’ve been taking omeperazole for about a month now. I’ve tried pepto, digestive enzymes (papaya), and famotidine. Still they persist. Like every freaking day. I’m eating small meals that aren’t too fatty or heavy. It’s not that painful or anything but it’s annoying and gross!! Anyone have any unusual remedies that I can try? Even just to cover up the taste! I read somewhere pickle juice could work 🤣🤣

They are from the delayed gastric emptying. No real help, just thought you should know.

Try ginger root. Slice it pour boiling water over it let it sit for 5 minutes and sip. Hope that helps 😊

Intermittent fasting and BPC helped with my acid reflux. To the point where I wasn't having to take omeprazole at all. Its kind of a double edged sword though, b/c intermittent fasting also made it very hard to intake enough calories/protein each day and when my hair started shedding I gave up IF. Now I'm back to taking omeprazole every 4 days or so.

I hate omeprazole b/c it has a host of downsides, notably preventing the absorption of vitamins and the inhibition of Vit B 12 synthesis, which is dependent on stomach acid.

I've never gotten sulphur burps from Sema, but I used to get them out of nowhere every few months or so. I still have no idea what was actually going on, but basically I would randomly get super, ridiculously sick for a couple days. I would have the gross burps constantly, heartburn up in my throat, and be throwing up bile.

Obviously it's a different cause, but the only thing I found that helped was just straight up not to eat. :l Understandably that's not great, but especially when it was happening consistently, I would pretty much go on a water fast for three days or so until they went away. The nausea was unbearable and I literally couldn't work when it was really bad because I'd still be throwing up even if I only drank water.

If they're really bad, maybe try protein drinks and electrolytes and see if that helps? My manager at work was also convinced I had something wrong with my gallbladder because she had the same symptoms before she ended up in emergency surgery to get hers removed.

The weird thing is, I haven't had these problems since about a year after I started semaglutide, and they'd been an ongoing thing for maybe five years prior to that. I feel bad for anyone suffering with any of this stuff, it's definitely uncomfortable.

Any time i get any gastric issues i just chug water. Im up north of a gallon plus a day not even trying hard. I have a little bit of bloat occasionally. But also lessens with the more water i drink. Tums are occasional as well. Roadside tacos taught me pepto (specially tablets) is like hunting a lion with a nerf gun wearing a steak tuxedo.
