Not Hydrapeak but works well

My Son has Bambu Labs A1mini also and we printed for a year almost everything on it. Then there was a good price for the A1 and I bought it for me. Now we have two 😉 But on a boat there could be an issue with the moisture of the filament, some of them suck in the moisture and then the printing fails or there could be errors in the surfaces of the printed goods.
Aw, good info. Thank you for telling me that. It is definitely high humidity in here.

Very true that all filaments are hydroscopic. Some more than others. If you plan on any of your prints living out in the elements, especially under the direct sun, you will want a printer capable of printing in ABS or ASA. If your prints will reside indoors, regular PLA or PETG will work just fine. PLA is pretty humidity resistant (though I have never tried it on a sailboat). ABS and ASA are extremely hydroscopic, so you would need to use a dryer box to help keep them from absorbing much. I can go on and on for days about this, but don't want to bore you. lol. Feel free to DM me if you have more questions or concerns. Happy to help.

It may not be a feasible idea while on the boat. Space requirements and moisture levels will probably cause issues. I'm still gonna research these because my mom has plenty of room at her house....lol

I know of some fancy tricks to mitigate the moisture issues. But space would definitely be a factor.

I may have to hire you one day for some random piece that breaks, everything breaks on a boat....everything. Lol
In our small sail boat the whole ceiling is coming down it was glued 1973 and now it comes down. We have no Idea, which type of glue we can use, that it will stuck there again 🤣

For the printer filament I have a small dryer, because in summer time it is pretty moist in the basement. In winter no problem because of low humidity because of heating and dry winter air.

What type of headliner? Vinyl, cloth? I know of a few good adhesives that hold up very well in the marine environment.

I found a food thermos on temu, it has 4 equal size containers in it. The containers are the perfect height for 3ml vials (just leave out the stainless liner bowl) and each container has a water tight gasketed lid. I found that 37 vials fit perfectly with no movement. That gives a total of 148 vials that can be stored. I filled one tray and almost a second, I stuffed a paper towel in there to fill the void as I wait for my next delivery. The thermos itself is stainless double walled with leakproof lid. It was $20 and it's pretty heavy made. It came with a shoulder strap but don’t really need that for freezer storage. Anyway, just wanted to share with you guys.

Sorry for the woobie pics but I'm nursing my knee injury so I was resting on the couch when Iwas getting these pics

One on order to go with my five Hydropeaks because, well, why not?! May be time to up my Reta dose again to engage addiction-control🤣

I got mine today and I love it. I put all my T60 in it so it’s not spread out among several hydropeaks. Now my hydrpeaks hold my 10ml bottles and Cagri. It’s tall so it has to lay on its side in my freezer, but that’s not an issue.

Was it delivered in a bag or a box? Good condition? Temu packaging, and AliExpress, leave a lot to be desired.

It was well packaged in a box. I was actually surprised it got here with no visible traume to the box or thermos
I ordered some plastic drawers for my peptide paraphernalia from Ali Express and one was delivered like this:

Glad it's going to work for you 😊 I have repacked mine with just my Tirz as well! I will sort the others into my two hydropeaks. Favs and others...lol

Hey y'all. So I found this fellow 3d print enthusiast with a site selling their peptide accessories. They are actually selling this container with 3d printed inserts already with it that will hold 185 vials! If you already have the container and just want the inserts, the seller has gone ahead and listed them by themselves. They also have a lot of other cool stuff. I am gonna get a couple of their hanging containers for pens and nasal sprayers so I can keep them on my fridge walls rather than taking up space on the shelves. And for everyone who does have a hydrapeak, they make and sell reusable ice packs made to fit inside with their inserts. So its added insurance should you have a power outage or if you need to travel with your hydrapeak. Check it out.

If you talk to Deevilish over there, tell em Pocket sent ya. haha.

I received my 2 thermos today! Thanks for sharing this. They really are made well.

Actually, it worked out to my benefit. With AliExpress you always get a great deal on the first item, but the second tends to be 2x, 3x or more.

In this case, the first set of drawers was $3.28 and the second over $8.

As it turned out, the $8 set were “coincidentally” the damaged one. After disassembly, heat gun and some clamps, two sets of usable drawers for $3.28 delivered.

Even bad lemons can yield some decent Lemonaid

Thats for the hydropeak thermos. I have actually already printed that exact set out for mine. Love it!

If you ever want/need help picking one out or troubleshooting it, I am happy to help. I teach 3d printing for a living.
oooh sign me up. which printer do you recommend?

There are so many good ones out there. It really all depends on what you want to print. Shoot me a DM and I will be happy to help out.
Is there an inexpensive Temu, AliExpress, etc, 3D Printer good enough to print these inserts, or do you need to spend X amount of dollars for something decent? Know zero about 3D printing.

If you want bargain basement cheap but still reliable, I would suggest looking at a Creality Ender 3 v2 on Amazon. Aliexpress and Temu may have them, but they may not be legit Creality machines and poorly built. I dunno. Last I checked, those run about 170 bucks on the Zon. Now those are not very new user friendly. Very basic bare bones, no bells or whistles.

If you want a printer that is easy to set up, easy to learn, and just flippin works, but still comes in cheap (don't know what you consider cheap or not though) you wanna look into something like a Bambu Labs A1 mini. I have one and it is an absolute workhorse of a machine. Personally, I hate the direction Bambu is going with their business practices and I will not buy another Bambu printer because of it. But their printers just. friggin. work. I gotta give them that. The downside to the A1 mini is your print size is pretty dang small. Still big enough to print the inserts.

Once you start printing things out, you will want to print bigger and bigger things and youll hit the limits of what the A1 Mini can do pretty quick. All the more reason to then get a 2nd printer! lol. There are a bunch of others around the same price range and quality of the Bambu that I can suggest, but it really depends on your use case and budget. Give me some of those deets and I am happy to home in one something.
