NIIMBOT team here — would love to hear how you label

it's really cool that you guys reach out to us for feedback like this. I'm pretty new M2 user and tbh my biggest beef with niimbot is the label inventory management system.
second issue for me is the limited ribbon colors. it sounds like you guys are already taking steps to address those pain points so thank you 🤩

Those vial toppers are great! Also need room for vendor info.

Anyhooo - I tape my vial to a file card with all the info for:
Vendor
Date
Acquisition (like was it a GB)
Dosage in mg and units
Solution mix
And what days to use.

File cards with taped vials are all stored in a big Jo Malone box in the fridge!

I would love to help with this!
I am all about the more color ribbons, purple and hot pink 🥰
I too use an iPad with the standard ios app, it's working fine for me but I would love to see one designed for the iPad and pencil.
The multi color labels and calculator shown are great, they would absolutely come in handy.
I agree it would be nice to not waste labels to get a multi color. Appreciate the effort you are taking to make more options for vial labeling, so many of us purchased the m2 for exactly that.
Hi SeaGypsy, thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback.

we’re already working on a purple ribbon, and we expect it to be available for online around August.

For the next ribbon colors, we’d love to hear your priorities. Which ones would you like to see first: holographic ribbon, silver ribbon, pink ribbon, or other two-color / multi-color ribbons? and why?

The iPad + Pencil idea is also a really good one. Are you thinking of something similar to journaling or planner-style DIY design, where you can hand-draw or customize designs directly on a 40×20 mm vial label?

We’re currently working on more label options based on real user needs, so your feedback is very helpful. Thanks again for supporting the M2 vial labeling use case!

Hi guys

a way for multicolor in the app with layering
its bad that i need to print 100 label with only black ribbon
then rewind the label do the same 100 label with the red color
then rewind the label do the same 100 label with green color
then rewind the label do the same 100 label with blue color BUT NOW THE RFID SAY ALL THE LABEL HAVE BEED USED and cant do blue and i scrapped a brand new roll

i only printed the same 100 label 3 time but the RFID say 300 print and the roll is dead ...

you need to add a way in the app to rewind the label for multicolor print and not change the rfid number

that my only issue

because to circumvent that i was buying roll from ali express and switch the rfid tag and return them to you guys

here is a exemple of the label i do

This is a really clear example — thank you 🙏

You're not alone on this — it's easily one of the most common pain points we're hearing from multi-color users, and we're actively working on a fix: a proper way to rewind labels for multi-color printing without burning through the count. Feedback this specific genuinely helps us get it right.

If you've got ideas on how you'd want that rewind/recount flow to work in the app, I'd love to hear them — you clearly know this inside out. 🙌

(P.S. love the Umbrella Corp label 😄)

The amount per shot seems to be the struggle. I've been labeling their vials but they have to remember the dosage Everytime because that's not what I put on the label. And then the dosage may change over time which also complicated printing it on the label, if that makes sense. Don't Want to have to print out a la el every time you change your dosage.
That makes total sense — thank you 🙏 So the real issue is that dose changes over time, but the label is fixed, so putting the dose on the label means reprinting every time it changes. Nobody wants that.

That's exactly the gap we're trying to close: keep the fixed info on the label (compound, mix date, concentration), and let the changing dose live in the app — logged and tracked, with reminders — so you never reprint just because the dose changed. The label and the app stay linked, but each holds the part it's best at.

Would that fit how you and the people you label for actually work? Really keen to get this right.1781576793448.webp1781576940036.webp

I think that's the ticket. You've described it well. I also love the inventory and all the info that can be stored there!

Pink because it stands out and silver/holographic because it would look incredible on the black labels. I would love to see pink and purple for us gals with beauty peps to label.
One thing I would really love to see is a nice padded case for the M2 and supplies...
