Threw up twice this week.

Fifty-five years. I've thrown up maybe ten times, seven of those times because I was young and drinking way too much. I never throw up, but I threw up twice this week. I am fairly confident it has something to do with my digestion and peptides, probably RETA and Cagri specifically. I didn't eat anything crazy. My wife and kid ate exactly the same food I ate all day. The only thing I did differently was I ate a little bit later than I normally do and a little bit larger portion than I normally do, but not a crazy big portion, just more than usual.

I suspect this is not the most uncommon thing when taking peptides that slow down your digestion. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with this. Fyi, i'm week 14 on reta 2.5mg/2x week, I added cagri .5mg/2x week a couple weeks ago, also on klow AD5 mots and tesa.

I threw up my first week on tirz, 2.5mg (I'm drug sensitive)...had bad hiccups...acid reflux...The acid reflux stayed with me the first 2-3 weeks, mostly at night. I took Tums a lot. I went up to 5mg after 4 weeks and 7.5mg after 12 weeks. No stomach issues at all now. The body adjusts to it, but I also started on BPC-157 and KPV, and I think they have helped a lot with the digestion problems...At any rate, the symptoms do get better pretty quickly....GL!

It's very likely due to Cagri I tried Cagri too, at .5 mg, and noticed that as soon as I ate a little more, I had to lie down right away because I felt nauseous. What I can recommend is that you stop taking Cagri and switch to a higher dose of Reta if you don't like how it suppresses your appetite.
 
I had severe nausea twice since starting reta. First time was 2 days after first dose of 2mg. Stupid me felt fine day 1, had several beers and leftovers before bed. Few hours later I woke abruptly with the nausea feeling reminiscent of my childhood stomach virus. Didn't puke but I was wrecked the next day. 2nd time, new vial from a different source on a titrate up week. Shortly after laying down, needed to get back up to use the bathroom. Some reason nausea hit me again. Still didn't puke but felt like death for a while. I just have to be careful with dosing starting new vials.

I think you're right. That's the newest addition to the stack, and I went up to .5mg from .25mg. I'm going to go back down to .2mg to see what happens.
 
How did you eat more on Reta? I basically have to force feed myself.
Funny thing about Reta, I'm never hungry, until I start eating. once I start eating I'm hungry and I can eat plenty. I mostly don't because , well, you know. But this week, I ate a bit more than I usually would and both times I got smacked upside the g.i. tract, hard. Woke up 3am, bloated, gassy, and super uncomfortable, I knew i'd eventually throw up based on the miserable taste from the burping. A couple hours later, bam, 2 lbs lighter.
 
Reta gave me an insane amount of hunger, but never nausea it made me want to eat a horse and gave me a boost in energy. I never tried Cag, and never threw up on a glp.

I would recommend stopping the Cag altogether, ppl report having GI issues while on it. And recalibrate your Reta pin days w/when you're going to eat a lot of food, I can usually eat huge meals around day 4 onwards w/o any GI discomfort.

And what do you mean by "eat a little more than usual" did you feel comfortable eating it or did ur stomach feel tight and/or did u feel nauseous?

I never got sick and threw up but every once in a while I would get very nauseous or have a "potty day"...all day. I'm on a similar stack as you.

These are relative measures. I used to eat two full plates of food, which was 1.3x-1.5x the right amount. Now relative to that I eat .5-.7 of a plate of food for dinner most nights. On the nights I threw up I ate a full plate, maybe slightly more, but I also went up to .5mg cag just prior. I'm now fairly confident if Cag wasn't involved, I wouldn't have had these issues. At .25mg Cag, i don't recall any issues, so I will skip the next shot, and then go back down to .2mg, and reevaluate.
 
Hard to say without knowing the specific foods you've been eating. You can go super basic: chicken soup with only carrots and potato and/or small plate of plain eggs and oatmeal (without milk) and gradually build up from there. Also, you can just stop pinning 1-2+ weeks and see if you get back to normal. Maybe try KPV and see if it helps the gut.
 
Hard to say without knowing the specific foods you've been eating. You can go super basic: chicken soup with only carrots and potato and/or small plate of plain eggs and oatmeal (without milk) and gradually build up from there. My diet has been consistent for months, as has my digestion. Latte in the morning, protein shakes late morning and early afternoon, occasionally a salad as well. I generally eat some kimchi with most meals, some sort of protein, a soft boiled egg or two, and a small amount of white rice. I'm running 1700-2000 calories a day, and I'm 6'5 265 (now - I was 301). I also lift weights daily, and run walk hike 3-4 days a week, so I'm burring up way more calories than I'm eating. I could always feel the slow digestion with Reta, but Cagri hits like a ton of bricks and is stopping digestion altogether, at least at the higher dose. It's a real firecracker, but a useful one if you can handle the heat.

Reta + cagri slow gastric emptying and appetite, so latte/dairy, repeated protein shakes, kimchi/fermentation, salad fiber, eggs/fat, and rice volume can sit longer. Thus, gas/nausea.

You might consider reducing shakes to 1/day, go lactose-free, cut kimchi/salad temporarily, smaller meals, lower fat, and hydrate/electrolytes.
 
Wedding a few weeks back, stopped for fast food on the way home, instant heartburn, hiccuped for 3 hours before I puked it all up. (I only had 3 drinks over 7 hours)
