Alcohol or not?

Hi all,

I take two prescribed injectable medicines.

The one I take other than ZEPBOUND actually comes with alcohol swabs to wipe the injection area. And the instructions say to swab the area before injection.

I don’t think that the instructions that come with ZEPBOUND say to wipe the area where I intend to inject prior to the injection.

Why is that?

Always cleanse first!

The alcohol wipes (or just cotton balls and isopropyl) are so cheap I can't think of any legitimate reason not to use them on everything when injecting.

Always use alcohol. The instructions may not specify it because it's just always done.

I thought this would be about drinking and I'd like to say for the record that I still enjoy a 6oz pour of red wine a few times a week. Cheers!

Me too, I came just to see what we were drinking…not that I have much interest anymore.
