Normally 24 hours after I can barely eat. It feels weird to be hungry.

Nothing changed, not a new vial, not a different dose.

Just a weird feeling and I’m whining.

It happens. I actually gained 2 pounds last week and stopped me for reaching under 200 by thanksgiving 🙁

but track your measurements as well as your weight frequently. Don't make dose adjustments unless you don't make any progress for a few weeks.

Happens to me sometimes too. If it continues try putting it in the back of your arm

Did you perhaps inject in or close to some scar tissue? I've had a ton of surgeries and sometimes if I get too close to my incisions I notice my dose is not as effective.

Comes and goes, that’s why I usually wait a few weeks before messing with dose, there’s probably a more specific reason why it happens but I just learned to deal with it
I have a pretty established cycle where I’ll lose one week then gain a little the next two then lose the next and repeat. It seems pretty normal looking at other people’s weight loss charts. It’s still frustrating but it’s working pretty well so I’m not changing anything

Nope, no surgeries. Same upper thigh I always use, either left or right alternating

This was the last of this vial so next shot will be a new vial and a new batch from a s supplier I haven’t used before. It’s already reconstituted and filtered, ready to go

A lot of people really seem to prefer the arm. I just haven’t figure out the mechanics to inject the back of my arm without help

I get that way occasionally, but I also sometimes do smaller amounts twice a week

Stand in front of a mirror..put your hand behind your head so the back of your arm is exposed. Literally grab some arm fat with a chip clip or hair clip. Jab.
Yay!! Thank you so much for the tip!! 🤩

Easiest way, the only way I've done it, on my bed, you'll need 2 pillows on top of each other, angle one so you can put the arm to be injected on top of it, spread out the back of your arm into the pillow, inject. Voila.

Noticed this on the couch today...sit at the end of the couch and put your arm up on the back of the couch stretched out. Push it down into the fabric and that will give you a nice fleshy bit squished out to jab

I will try it, thank you!! I asked my sis last week but she was skeeved out and afraid of doing it wrong (she’s on branded pens) and jabbed it in so hard I got a nice bruise to go with my normal ISR-hive 🤣

It's very easy!! Also re your ISR hive - I was getting that a lot and tried everything and what worked for me finally was a Zyrtec an hour before, alcohol swab after, then witch hazel pad, then cortisone, and I kept using the witch hazel anytime it was red or itchy and it really helped, also what helped me was splitting my dose so small volume injections.

Call me crazy, but maybe that means you need to eat? I eat a lot of food on glp1, but it’s mostly protein - chicken and eggs. And I keep losing weight, and I don’t think I’m losing that much muscle despite not doing much exercise. I don’t think the point is to starve.

I like the full feeling

Most of my life I could eat and feel full, then 15 minutes later feel hungry again. I feel like that today.

Tirz blocks that so I eat a reasonable amount and feel satisfied for awhile.

If we could manage what we eat appropriately on our own, none of us would be here, I’d bet. I’m not exactly here because my life is going that well for me. Am I?

I understand. I really do. 🙂

My experience on glp1 has been that even when I think I’m eating a ton, I’m really not compared to how I used to, as evidenced by the consistent weight loss over time.

It’s not always fast, but it’s consistent.

I guess my general feeling is that extremes in anything are bad, and that I’m trying to live in a way that’s sustainable. Not extreme deprivation or another crash diet.

And for me that means when I’m hungry I eat. Now that I’m on Tirz, I can’t eat like crap or I’ll feel sick anyway.

I haven't tried it yet, but people say they like to lift their arm and press it against a wall to better reach or, they use a hair clip to pinch the "waddle" on the arm in an effort to assist. Hopefully that helps! I have been doing the stomach for 6 weeks. It works and, I've had essentially no side effects (except fatigue but as an anemic that's common for me anyway) I want to change it up. I'll definitely be trying the wall or clip method when I do!

Agreed. I don't think we should be striving for a medication that makes us feel full all of the time. That's not normal. Should we feel full after eating a meal? Sure. But not all the time. Hunger is normal and natural, and we SHOULD feel hungry when our body needs sustenance. I don't understand this desire to feel full all the time, and turning to a glp1 for that doesn't really get to the root of the real problem which is fixing your relationship with food.

I will try it! Benadryl didnt really help much but I never thought of zyrtec. I was also using after bite which I think is the same ingredient as Benadryl but it did nothing. Thanks a million!!!

So glad tirz is working so well for you! For me, tirz has finally allowed my body to function properly, as it never has. I've been fortunate that eating appropriately has never been my issue, but now I feel like I am no longer fighting my thyroid problems, metabolic problems, absorption issues, high cortisol and it's been amazing to have a body and a system that is finally working right!

I tried everything - Benadryl, anti-hive medication, a bunch of different anti-histamines and nothing made a dent until I started doing the Zyrtec witch hazel cortisone. Hope the combo brings you some relief as it did me!

I think it’s important to realize that a “relatively” small change - like a smaller portion size or passing on that midnight snack - make a huge difference over time.

I didn’t get to be 140lbs heavier in one year. And I don’t expect to get to be 140 lbs lighter in one year. So far it’s been about a year, and I’m almost 70lbs down.

That’s life changing. I’ll hopefully keep having success.

Why was I driven to compulsively eat prior to glp1? I dunno. Personally I think it’s a sugar metabolism issue. But whatever it is, it’s working.

I haven’t changed anything really, but everY thing has changed. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Was not hungry until noon today. Seems to be back to normal for no apparent reason. My mid week shot is tomorrow so we’ll see what happens
FWIW, at about week 9ish in my journey I stopped getting the top appetite suppression on shot day and it migrated to the second and third day after. My shotsy app shows I'm on the downhill slide of mg concentration in my body when I feel the most results/sides. It's weird. Same for the past three weeks now.

I have noticed a difference in hunger feelings since starting tirz. I still get hungry but the associated cratering of blood sugar and urgency to eat is not what it used to be. I will get around to eating something eventually.
