Good folks of forum,

I see sold out Tirzepatide 50, 60, sold out Reta 20, and I wonder what are the rough calorie intake of people on such doses of these peotides.

I understand that there's different individual responses, and tolerance over time, but still would love to learn how your average daily calorie intake and maybe macros look like?

For me, 1.25mg tirzepatide every 4 days over a 4 week period has dropped the avg calories intake from 3-3.5kcal to 2-2.5kcal. Urge to binge eat is on leash, and food is no longer dominating whole my life, only a portion of it. Having tried to up the dose once, I could hardly eat anything, hence my wonder.

Stay healthy.

I've meticulously tracked every day since Jan and my overall average has been right at 1100 calories. Macros have been random - I did a month of only potatoes, a month of only salad, but for the most part carbs are still well represented in my diet. I'll have an occasional high calorie day still too- maybe like 4 a month and I'll have some zero calorie days sprinkled in as well, usually the day after a shot.

Down 180lbs this year so far and am about 40lbs away from my overall goal.

Impressive work, that takes stamina and discipline 💪 What your dosage look liked since Jan?

I appreciate it. I'm more impressed by the people who can lose slowly and stay focused, though. I don't trust myself, so when I feel that suppression kicking in, I roll with it, because I'm scared that 450lb version of me is lurking, just waiting to destroy some pizzas.

I've been at 15mg of brand name since maybe June. Since then I've played around with adding Reta and Cagri in at different times, but was unimpressed. Right now I'm taking 15 mg of tirz every 5-6 days and it's really doing the trick for me

I'm in the same mental camp. I feel the other me in love with endless cycles of binge and purge is lurking just below my skin at all times.

I'm sure we'll manage just fine 💪

I think a lot of people buying 60mg might be using something like 6 weeks x 10mg or 4 weeks x 15mg from the a single vial and they're simply buying bulk supplies at cheaper prices.

To answer your other questions I've been on Tirz 4 months and maxed out at around 7.5mg per week. I'm probably consuming less than 1,500 food calories per day on average. A lot of days lower than 1,000. I have quite an active social life however and once or twice a week I'll consume a lot of alcohol calories. I'm down around 20lbs in those 4 months (currently weigh around 195lbs at 5 10).

Is there anecdotal consensus within the community that once reconstituted, it remains effective beyond the 28 days recommended period?

I'm not sure there is a consensus but I've saw a study (that I can't find now) that the degradation of constituted Eli Tirz is incredibly slow even when un-refrigerated. The official recommendation is to throw your Mounjaro pen away after 30 days outside the fridge - I've anecdotal evidence that the official stuff was effective even after 2 months outside the fridge.

For reconstituted stuff I'm putting in the fridge straight away I wouldn't personally be worrying if it's in there for up to 2 or even 3 months. As long as my bac water and prep was good when reconstituting to keep out bacteria (alcohol wipes on vial etc). At the minute though I'm sharing with the wife so I haven't tested long term reconstituted storage.

My original prescription was for a 3 month supply from a pharmacy/doctor in the US. One vial, 75mg. They said (when I questioned them) that the 28 days is for multi-use vials and 90 days is perfectly fine.

ETA: I'm not high dose yet, but I try to stick to 1200-1300 cals/day with 800 as a minimum. Averaging 3-4 pounds per week loss.

I'm not on a super high dose - 6mg of reta, but my calorie intake ranges anywhere from 800-1800 per day. I tend to track weekly calories because I get really high appetite suppression after a dose which wears off during the week. So I try to have some higher calories days towards the end of the week to make up for really low days at the beginning. I aim for about 8.5-10k calories per week.

I love calculating like this too or even monthly, mopo. I have a dry erase board hanging in my hall, where I track daily calories and workouts. On the empty portion of the board, I average the monthly calories and this helps me stay level headed after a high calorie day of eating. Yeah, I ate 4k calories today, but averaged out over the month, it barely budged the average.

Yep, started near 450 and I'm about to be in the high 260's.
That’s wild! Congrats. You are doing an amazing thing for yourself.

I am wayyyyy slower. But keep chipping away. I’m also not counting calories or even thinking about food really. I crave chicken and eat chicken and it’s crazy that nothing else sounds or feels good to me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I do the same thing, I've been trying to average less than 1500/day (I want to lose slow) so one day I had 2500 because I went out, but another day I wasn't really feeling food*, so I had 500. It evens out 🤷‍♀️ I do the average by both week and month.

My average for last month was 1400, the last week was 1150.

That's a good month of work you have behind you, chmuse. You are killing it.

Proud of you!
I appreciate ya, yoyo.

I honestly never envisioned beating this. I tried and failed so many times. I know there is still work to be done, but I actually believe it's going to happen now.

It's been a crazy year, partly highlighted by finding these forums and all of you. I love that I've found a group of people who are just as passionate about this subject as I am.
