Why test this ?

Hi - Noob question, I recently purchased a kit of GLB-1T from a well known 3b supplier that came with Janoshik test results and reference number to independently verify the test on Jaonshik's website. The test was for 3 vials - all were a little over weight and all were >99%. Janoshik's link confirmed the same results.
Would you still pursue organizing a test group and get additional tests ?

All depends on your personal risk tolerance.

There is no way for you to guarantee that what is in your vials is from the same batch as that test. If you trust it to be a good enough indicator, inject away. If you want to be paranoid, get it tested.

This it’s your risk. A well known “reliable” vendor, I’d pin. An unknown (I actually just put in an order from an unknown) I’d fire away for testing. There are cheaper options than Jano. End of the day it’s all just money in/money out one way or another.

I'd trust Nexaph's second-party tests, but also there's a robust ecosystem of third-party group tests for their popular products. And Nexaph is good at maintaining separate batches with text & cap/band color ID. Search for and join Flying Purple Pep Guild for starters. Participate in a group test for your batch.

Ask yourself this question: what does the vendor do when they just spent tens of thousands on a batch and they catch a bad test? Do they trash it and eat the loss?

I’ll tell you what they very likely might do: they don’t release that test. You don’t know that the batch you’re holding was the same as the batch for the test. It happens all the time. How often do you see a vendor-released bad test? Never. Yet testing groups uncover bad batches all the time

No vendor is immune from the incentives at play here, not even nexaph, despite all the fanboying you’re seeing. He has a track record of lies. It gets lost because his marketing strategy leads to the perception of safety.

I absolutely agree with this. It really does make me wonder why the vendors even bother with the tests at all though? I mean a business ( this applies to my own business) has to work off reputation. It is the single most important part of any successful business. There’s probably loads of businesses the same as mine and do it better than me but my reputation is what pays my mortgage. These places are no different so where’s the incentive to use any of them if we’re to not take their CoAs at face value (of course we cant take them at face value). At what point do they garner a good (or bad) reputation? What makes one stand out from another if all CoAs are irrelevant?

It's mostly a feel good thing, honestly. It gives a good impression. Realistically, purity doesn't even mean what most people think it does, and even name brand doesn't have to be 99%+. It's more of a marker to show they're making an effort.

Most vendors are just resellers. They're buying product in bulk and then reselling it to us, and probably just giving us the same COA they were given when THEY bought it. That's why so many were affected by zero pep gate. They took their sellers at their word and resold to us without double checking.
