Does anyone have experience with GYC injectable carnitine, or know a vendor that has tested stock?

That requires like filtering right?
I can’t answer that intelligently. I just bit the bullet and ordered the EvolveBio L-Carnibol from India for $18 a box to try. I never even wanted injectable L-Carnitine until all of you f***ers started talking about it. Each day I wake up and think “who can I give my money to today?”

L-Carnitine is punishment for something I’ve done in my past and don’t remember. I ordered it, filtered it, and did a 2ml IM injection in my thigh. I immediately regretted it. There is no benefit on earth that is worth the holy hell nightmare that I experienced for about two hours after that injection. It hurt so bad I felt sick in the stomach. I sat through a 12 hour tattoo once that was partially in my armpit, and it hurt less than that injection.

Yep, first time I did it undiluted was as described. I diluted it to 33% bac and it's bearable, but it leaves lumps like no other. I can barely find a spot on my abdomen that isn't lumpy after a few weeks of L-carnitine.
I'm on a break right now but I'm junking the rest of the l-carnibol. I've got a different brand to try next time. Then I'm making my own after that.

it burns pretty bad for me for about 5 minutes after injection. Slight tingling for 4-5 hours after that. Supposedly adjusting pH can help but it doesn't bother me enough to mess with it. Sorry to hear it went so poorly for you, but that is quite the vivid description.

I do 1ml subq in my abdomen since mine is 500mgish/ml. No long lasting lumps for me.

You guys might have something bad I think. I used both the korean version thats 1000mg/5ml and the one from nexus aminos 600mg/ml and there was no sting at all. I tried both sub-q and IM.

I'm going to brew my own after I finish what i have

I don’t think you are supposed to use it subcutaneous. Did you read that somewhere that you can share?

I assumed it was subq- due to lipo-c, but it was tough finding any "non-telehealth" references.
Most recommend IM injections.

I did find this:
L-carnitine can be administered via subcutaneous injection, and research indicates it may be a preferable route of administration compared to oral routes for certain conditions like atherosclerosis. Subcutaneous injection of L-carnitine in mice on a high-fat diet did not have a detrimental effect on atherosclerosis, unlike oral supplementation which showed increased plaque formation and other markers. However, the specific benefits and risks of subcutaneous L-carnitine injection in humans require further investigation.

Conclusion: In contrast with oral LC administration, subcutaneous LC administration, which bypasses its conversion to TMAO in the liver, does not have a detrimental effect on the development of atherosclerosis in male ApoE-/- mice. Taking LC parenterally may be preferable among patients who require LC supplementation.

It says IM only right on the box.

Lots of people on the bodybuilding side of the world brew their own, discussion around the stinging is quite common. Adjusting the pH can help, but I don't feel like bothering with that.
