Hi all,

I recently got into peptides and started going on retatrutide for a bit of weight loss. Currently on 2mg but barely feeling anything. From Europe, so quite difficult to order bigger orders from most of the recommended sources i see on here. it will either be domestic EU (i used modern aminos) or Chinese suppliers.

Considering that, i made my first purchase of a box of 10 vials of Tirzepatite from Jinan Jianfeng Chemical Co., Ltd. for around 125 EUR- i saw a post about them here earlier where @yaxma feels like they have been scammed but i already made my purchase which was quite easy and they seem reliable with high trust score on made-in-china website, audited, 5 stars etc. Ordered 7 days ago and still no update on the tracking data.

I will be sending one of the vials of for testing to get a COA, and if the tests come out good, I will order some Retatrutide from them to also go ahead and let those get tested (i will use Analiza Bialek for testing as they seem a bit less expensive). If anyone would be willing to share in the costs of the COA that will be greatly appreciated and I will of course share the results with you.

If anyone has any tips, recommendations, tricks (on how to make Chinese order go through for example) etc. please feel free to add to this thread!

Normally whenever I see a supplier name mentioned in the first few posts by a new member (especially the very first post), I simply delete it and move on.

This is an example of one of those posts that obviously violates more than one part of the 'Welcome New Members! READ BEFORE POSTING!' pinned post at the top of this section, for example:

At the same time, it comes across as reasonably well thought out and doesn't give the obvious impression of the typical shilling behavior that's behind most of the recent rule changes so I have to deal with the conundrum of whether to delete it, edit out the vendor name, or approve it as-is.

I'm making the rare exception of approving it as-is for two reasons: 1. because it's the path of least resistance for me at this particular moment, and 2. because it demonstrates many of the reasons behind my frustration that so many new members seem to have such a hard time reading and following the rules and waiting until they've had some time to settle in and make a few posts before finding a way to start talking about the favorite/least favorite/most recent vendor.

Seriously, what is it that compels new members to have to mention specific vendors in their first few posts?

I'm genuinely curious. It's something I've never understood (apart from the obvious shilling motivation behind many such posts), and it continues to both puzzle and irritate me.

As an illustrative example, I go to a lot of car shows, cars and coffee type gatherings, cruises, drag racing, road course racing, (no auto-x because that's just dumb), swap meets, etc. so I'm frequently in the position of meeting new groups of people. One thing that never happens is myself or anyone else introducing ourselves to the group and immediately starting off by telling everyone about our experience with a speed shop, mechanic, parts store, tuner, or anything remotely vendor-related. Nobody immediately mentions where we bought our last tank of gas, or what brand of tires we think is best, etc. We talk about our cars, what we do for a living, upcoming shows/races/events, how much work someone has put into their car, stuff like that - we get to know each other. Sure, vendors often eventually come up as part of the conversation, but it's always much later into the whole experience and never the first topic of discussion.

Obviously I'm of a certain pre-internet vintage with a different perception of the 'social contract' we live by when establishing new peer groups and relationships, but I also know a lot of younger people just getting into many of the same hobbies as myself and mentioning vendors right at the outset is still not a normal part of the entire socialization process.

I realize that an important part of this whole GLP-1 experience for a lot of people is finding vendors they feel they can trust and rely on who have good products, prices, and service and that's perfectly acceptable and normal. I even accept that many are so extremely driven to get started on the path to better lives, health, weight, etc. that they skip the "normal" learning and familiarization process of most new endeavors and expect or rely on others to do the work for them and give them the shortest path possible to achieve their goals including which vendor to buy from. I get it, I really do. What I don't get is this bizarre obsession people have to immediately tell everyone where they made their last purchase, why their drug dealer is the best, etc.

If anyone has any insight into what is behind this strange phenomenon I'd love to hear your thoughts. For my own part, I'm going to an annual Father's Day car show tomorrow and I'm going to try to make a point to immediately tell every new person I meet that I filled up my Corvette at Philips 66 and how awesome an experience it was and see what kind of response I get. 🤪

Thanks for the quick response.

I did briefly read through the rules before posting, but I’ll admit that my main reason for being here is to contribute to the broader zeitgeist around the procurement of these compounds. This is and was the only real reason for me to spend time on the forum, let alone make posts. For me, that means sharing my own experiences as transparently as possible, especially when it comes to vendors and testing — which I’ve noticed doesn’t get reported on in much detail all that often. I hope that this may possibly help people with sourcing their stuff as they could be in the same situation i am currently.

My goal isn’t to promote anyone, just to contribute something potentially useful to others trying to navigate this landscape, especially those of us in the EU where sourcing is a bit more complicated. In that sense I am only just sharing my experience.

That said, I completely understand your point — and your frustration. It makes sense that trust needs to be built before jumping into vendor talk, even with good intentions. I’ll continue the thread and go ahead with the testing as mentioned above, but I totally respect whatever decision you make about the post (i.e. deleting at a later stage). Thanks again for the fair treatment.

Shit I find myself guilty of this in the last hour so no hard feelings if my comments are deleted. A Newby wanted a decent sized order and was put off by x company. Feeling the whiskey (last night not this am) and a desire to assist I said company y has been on point lately for some of us. I see where it turns into 30 more questions and I then feel like a rep. Anyway I believe NEW MEMBERS ARE OBLIGATED TO MENTION THEIR FIRST VENDOR simply cuz they want reassurance.... They're praying they don't get 20 LOLS and hope the responses are YOUR GOOD, I WOULDNT WORRY, A BUNCH OF US USE THEM, WISE CHOICE, etc....

It's all good. If anything it helped me focus my thoughts sufficiently to finally put them together in a way that expresses my befuddlement at this strange phenomenon. I'm genuinely curious about the psychology behind it both in terms of just understanding why it is such a prevalent behavior and what I can do as the owner of this little platform to adjust/adapt and otherwise deal with it in a way that keeps membership engaged and promotes enjoyment, better health, sharing of knowledge.

There's definitely a component of people wanting reassurance, and while a lack of confidence has never been an issue for me personally I realize that's not the case for everybody. There just seems to be more to it than that and it has piqued my curiosity to figure out what some of the other reasons might be.

Another is prolly they were intrigued at the simplicity of the purchase. 2 emails, a request for payment including surcharges, shipping, etc... that you only have to click pay and then a very polite drug dealer sends u a pic of ur products with correct address of where it's going and says give it about 10 days lad....you then feel obligated to share this delightful experience to help others that already knew and u then look like an excited puppy rather than a stone faced veteran poker player hahahaha.....
