TikTok is really creating problems in this space.

I am not sure if I wanted to laugh or propose..
But that is the best sentence I have read in a while! 🤣 šŸ’ 🄰
That's hilarious! Here's one... many years ago was partying with my gf all weekend and I was off Monday, she wanted to call off and asked what should I text my boss? Jokingly I said text him "I'm not gonna make it in tommorow my pussys all jacked up." She texted that verbatim. His response? "Lady issues? No problem I understand. "

You are 100% right. It is one of the reasons why I started hoarding. I feel like one day something is going to happen that is going to make it very difficult to get.

I see more and more posts on Reddit from people who don't know the basics but somehow wound up buying a vial of Reta. Like they don't even realize the vials come in powder/puck form. They think it is shady if the vials are not labeled. They don't know what a kit is. They post the literal dumbest questions. They can't do basic math like what is 20mg divided by 10. They ask questions like "Is 10mg more than 5mg". One GI symptom and they are posting about how terrible it is and "Is it normal to have diarrhea" ....

I read something that said AI use (and I think Tiktok use tbh) is rotting people's brains and I believe it.

Plus combine that with spending their rent money and last dollar on glp1s, expecting vendors to ship out immediately after payment like Amazon does, not understanding it can take weeks to get from Asia to the US, not understanding Chinese holidays, customs, or just general international shipping...Yeah it is a recipe for disaster. It is just going to take one media expose or high profile death blamed on GLP1 grey stuff for the ban hammers to start coming down.
This. This. All this.

Research the worst possible outcomes. Prosecution could happen for several reasons. It’s not likely they will prosecute for small, personal amounts but eventually they will make an example out of someone. If people aren’t willing to accept that then this is the wrong hobby.
I hope you don't mind me asking more questions. I am obviously very ignorant and also I don't see much information about this elsewhere, but what is your experience with ordering overseas (if you have tried them)? Is the packaging discreet and are the items labeled? I am really curious why, if the FDA is making a fuss about it, can overseas transactions even push through.

The idea that you're lecturing with this condescending, self-aggrandazing ("stupid" "lazy") tone ignores the fact that the EARLIEST and most PROLIFIC users of crypto/bitcoin were dudes living in their moms' basements consuming black market p*rn! Good for you, you're in great company.

The time and energy you're taking to continue insulting and bashing people is odd -- the very definition of insufferable.
As someone who has been unfortunate enough to be hearing about crypto since you could get multiple bitcoin for a penny:

Porn was not the primary use case for it. Just as it is with us, it was buying drugs. Silk Road was a big name, but drug buying sites on TOR predate crypto and they all adopted it quickly once it got even into the tens of cents range and there was more liquidity.

I don’t see anyone saying that’s why they use a CC. That’s not why I use it.

I use CC because I can’t be bothered to learn and deal with crypto, too many steps and options for my ADHD brain such that I’m bound to mess it up, and my vendor is close enough to crypto vendors where there’s little to no benefit to me to using it.
There have been a variety of people saying that that is explicitly their reason for using a CC on the forums over the time that I've been here.

Also people that have opened paypal/alibaba disputes, etc. And vendors give chargebacks and disputes as explicit reasons as to why they don't accept them.

I was referring to this thread. Obviously. There are many assumptions being made about the people in this thread, one being called ā€œstupidā€ for preferring CC over crypto.

I prefer CC to crypto for a few reasons, but mostly because I'm still bitter for selling all my crypto years ago before it got popular.
I will never sell what I bought in 2017. Mentally I can't. Peptides were my first time actually using crypto in any real way.

2017 is when I sold, about a month before everything went up. I spent years trying to educate people on crypto, only to be brushed off constantly. Finally it got to me and I thought, "I guess they're right, I'm wrong and dumb for bothering with this". Sold it all. Wasn't long after that those people starting hitting me up asking about it. 😔

Good life lesson there, I suppose.

The Chinese are discreet. India is quite predictable.

That's why I can't ever sell what I set aside. Too many stories like yours. It would haunt me lol.

I know, and I really apologize if my pissed commenting splashed over on you. It was a generalization to make a point--I was annoyed and on a roll 😬
I'm usually a nice gal.

Ease up, man. That’s a bold statement that sounds like something a person on MESORX would say. There are people on here that choose not to use crypto but will run circles around you, and I with their knowledge of peptides. They may be older, or just not have that kind of access.
I run to meso to read the meat heads argue over the funny little things

I unloaded a ton of btc at 1k and then in 2017 at under 20 and regret that.

It was mostly Dogecoin and Ethereum that I sold too early. In hindsight, what gets to me more than the money is the fact that I let myself be swayed by people who didn’t actually know what they were talking about. The lesson I learned is this: whenever you follow someone else's advice, they’ll gladly take credit if it works out--but if it doesn’t, they will absolve themselves of any responsibility of said advice, and the consequences remain yours alone. So you have to trust yourself first.

Yep.. I did the same thing... and I will be kicking myself for the next 30 years. 😢

I agree! I so hope that last part doesn’t happen though. That would be so terrible in multiple ways.

Contraband purchases and money laundering. Its almost like it was invented for these purposes šŸ˜€

I'm surprised the pricing hasn't gone up for now, especially with reta.

But to summarize this thread:

Hoard everything until your partner threatens divorce šŸ˜‰

I am surprised how many people are reluctant to do even Bitcoin, unlike some other currencies that can use different networks.
I refuse to use bitcoin. Call me old. Whatever.

The amount of sheer buffoonery on TikTok I fear is creating massive problems with vendors and also leading to the quality control, payment option limitations and other insane shenanigans we are seeing.

And this is mostly coming from uneducated newbies, all demanding vendor lists without any research or understanding how the market works. The way these people act toward these vendors are appalling and then when they don’t receive their products in 7 days or less initiate PayPal disputes, Alibaba disputes, go on TikTok and whip up hysteria. It’s legit creating a domino effect.

Another big issue is these newbies who know nothing fighting against the ā€œgatekeepersā€ saying everyone should have this information and publicly sharing all the vendors in massive lists, with contact information thinking they are white knighting for the market.

The vendors didn’t need or want the extra publicity. They choose how to advertise. I’ve had several of my reps begging folks to please stop.

I fear this is only going to get worse. Customs is cracking down. FDA is cracking down. Costs are shifting. Payment options becoming more limited.

The market will survive. It always does. But it may look quite different and the people who refuse to educate themselves aren’t doing anyone any favors.

Sorry needed to rant. So freaking frustrated at the idiocy I am seeing. People want everything served up to them without knowing the ins and outs, treat it like China Amazon and then when things don’t go there way flip out and spread massive amounts of misinformation.
I despise TikTok. If it blew up and never came back it would not bother me.

I enjoy parts of it.. I’m on ā€œgardentok ā€œ and a few other subjects. But it’s ruined it for me, seeing all these ppl trying to ruin grey for those who have done the work. šŸ˜’
I find it's a great way to keep up on news. Bite size info I can Google for more in depth information. I'm on world news Tok so I get a lot of stories that aren't on the US media radar.

Also booktok and foodtok. Dense bean salads, cucumber salads, and carrot salad trends have all been integrated into my diet and I'm not mad about it. I even did dinosaur time for a while.
