Let me preface this by saying I am not asking anyone for a source. To be clear, I’m currently on RETA so I don’t need a source.

I’ve spent some time reading through various topics about the validity of different sources. My question is what makes some of the overseas vendors, such as SSA better than a US vendor? While I understand all testing may not be the same. If someone knows a person who is getting RETA from a US based website, where they can pay easily and get it shipped faster. Why would they choose an overseas vendor that requires payment in BITCOIN and takes 7-15 days to arrive. Mind you, from my own research, the price points are comparable. I really wanna understand this.

If the price is very similar you might as well buy it from a US reseller, if the convenience is more important than price to you. What I usually see though is huge markups compared to getting it from china directly.

You could also just buy it from the US warehouses that the bigger chinese sellers have.

I like the US warehouses of Chinese vendors, though their selection for non-GLPs is limited. They also don't usually sell survo or madz.

Price usually isn't at all comparable. Usually US resellers are selling individual vials for more than you can get an entire kit.

If you can find equivalent prices from a domestic reseller, I say go for it. You have to ask yourself why the price is so low, though. Resellers incur a lot of risk buy purchasing bulk product from overseas and selling it here. Get it properly tested and make sure you're not getting anything that's watered down or a completely different product entirely.

Not to name any names, but I got a quote from an overseas vendor vs a US based vendor and shipping and delivery time was longer for overseas vendor. Price was $7 more for US vendor but 6 days faster.
Did you pay SSA list price? because list price is always WAY higher than the going rate. Nexaph is the cheapest domestic reseller and they can't come close to the actual going rate for a Chinese vendor.

Well, today I ordered a kit of 12mg reta for $295 from a US based company. I got free shipping since I ordered other stuff at the same time. Yes, I know that its much more expensive than ordering from China .. but it will get here quickly and isn't passing through customs. It was easy to order and pay. Honestly when you consider how much we are already saving compared to pharmacy prices, even a compounding pharmacy, I'm fine with this. I think of it as tipping the person for giving me an easy transaction and for the risk they are taking on my behalf. An extra $100 or so for what would be a year supply isn't going to break me.

See, this is why everyone who asks for recommendations gets told “it depends.” There are so many variables- price, speed of shipping, customs, payment form, specific item you are looking for- for some things, you don’t have a choice if you want to try it (or use it regularly). But if you can figure out what you want, when you want, and pay in the method you want AND the price is acceptable? That’s your chosen vendor. There is no way I could have come into the forums, ask for recs, and buy without looking around. I looked at so many price lists, so many product lists, et cetera because I couldn’t just go with the most popular vendor (good thing too- I came in just when Tracy left everyone high and dry, and until he wasn’t, he was the best.. or so I heard). No vendor is perfect, but you look and find one that fits your comfort level. The only time I might not “approve” of your choice (like that means anything) is when people want single vial vendors or say “group buy.” The first is too expensive (but I can kind of understand using them for new to you peps) and the second exceeds my comfort level. MY comfort level. But I’m not going to tell you it’s a mistake unless it’s the equivalent of buying SRY’s cut rate peptides with a side of cleaning chemicals guaranteed to turn your urine black- and even then, it’s not my decision. But if it could do you actual harm I’m going to say something. In the end it’s still your decision.

After the fall of QSC and Tuk last year, I started to doubt the quality of my stash. I cannot exactly match each kit to their COA. With my US supplier, each box has a batch number, easily matched to a COA, and a strong community around the name. I buy pre orders, and large doses. So far, so good. I suspect most US suppliers are just CN resellers, so the quality could be just as doubtful.

Been throwing out Tuk (ASC) and QSC when I see no vacuum or when the puck has visually changed. That 20% loss negates the CN bargain, IMO. Maybe I am anal, and only 10% had actually 'deteriorated'. Still a loss. In 2025, grey has become so much more visible that I do not want to be flagged/inspected by CBP each time I return from a trip abroad.

I had no medical conditions before my glp1 program. Then kidney stones, retinal detachment, recent TVL/nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), etc. Quality is first on my mind, CBP, and price is last.

I got the SSA quote directly from Bella via Telegraph and it was not cheaper than where I ended up ordering from.
So yes, you paid list price instead of waiting for a sale (which happens pretty much every few weeks)
kit of 12mg reta for $295
For comparison I just got r60 for that price.

As long as you're aware those batch numbers are just placebo. They bought a bunch of kits and stuck a number on them. No guarantee of anything. All vendor tests are worthless.

I really appreciate your response and it makes a lot of sense.
