I’ve been doing a lot of reading on different peptides lately and I keep coming across mixed information when it comes to their relationship with cancer risk or progression. I know some peptides can stimulate growth factors or cellular repair, but I’m also seeing warnings that certain ones might accelerate cancer if it’s already present.
I’m not trying to self-diagnose anything, just trying to understand what’s legit vs. what’s internet fearmongering. Are there specific peptides that are known (or suspected) to increase cancer risk, like growth-hormone–related ones (e.g., BPC-157, TB-500, IGF-1 LR3, etc.)? And are there safer options for recovery or anti-inflammatory purposes that don’t carry that concern?
Would really appreciate any scientific input, experiences, or even good studies anyone can share. Just trying to stay informed before deciding whether or not to use anything. I personally haven’t been screened for cancer, there’s only some history on my mothers side (Aunt, Grandma, Great Aunt) and I’m also half Ashkenazi Jewish from my mother, not entirely sure if I carry BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation genes.
Thanks in advance!

As a cancer survivor, I have done a lot of research into this. I do not touch anything growth hormone related or that encourages angiogenesis. The risk is just too high. TB500/tb4, bpc157, mt1/mt2, tesamorelin etc.

KPV is a safer option for anti-inflammatory, which I pin daily with my ghk-cu.

I recommend getting onto Peppys as you'll find all the research there to help you make an informed decision.

You pin ghkcu ? or topical? thanks

Thank you for the resource! Do you happen to pin Epi? I’ve read good things about it having potential anti-cancer effects, but also the opposite.

Both.

I pin a mix daily. 2mg ghk-cu/1mg ghk basic/400mcg KPV daily Monday-Friday for 5 weeks on, 3 off.

I use topical ghk-cu at a 1.5% concentration in a hyaluronic acid based body lotion on my general body 3 or 4 times a week.

I use topical ghk-cu at a 1% concentration in a hyularonic acid based day cream for my face every morning, and at a 1.5% concentration for my face in a hyularonic acid based night cream every evening.

I respect your resilience friend. What benefits have you observed? I’m somebody that struggles with getting quality sleep and I have been looking to read more experiences using epi.
I sleep well, I have less brain fog, my memory is better, I stumble over my words less.

As a good general rule, anything you take that will build muscle will accelerate the growth of cancer and/or tumors, including HGH, Growth Hormone secretagogues and AAS.

Check out the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). They have lists of what can accelerate growth. Vitamin C, NAC, Folic Acid and Vitamin E are on there in addition to the others I mentioned in the previous paragraph.

Can you recommend a good source for base carriers like that? I assume you get raw powder for your topicals, lyophilized would be $$$

Yes, it would take 2 kits of 50mg lyophilized Ghk-cu (injectable) to equal a single ampule of Ghk-cu cosmetic (non injectable). About $12 versus $190. There use to be a good source (Janoshik tested) on AliExpress but they've suspended sales. I was able to get some last week in a popular Discord I'll DM you if they're open to invites (<$10gm).

Yes, those.

If I were acutely injured, I’d use them for recovery as the alternative is probably worse for my overall physical and mental health than the risk of latent cancer growing.

But just for general wellness, I won’t touch them.

GHK-Cu promotes angiogenesis.

My source is a WhatsApp only sort of vendor, which puts a lot of people off. $8/g ghk-cu and $15/g ahk-cu. But yes, it would be expensive if not for raws!

What is Epi? Epitalon ? thanks
Yes epitalon. I buy 10mg kits because one vial lasts me the 10 days.

True, but it is specifically in the skin and hair follicles, rather than whole system. The risk of tumour growth as a result is super limited to cancers in those areas. As mine was brain cancer, it's a mitigated risk compared to something like tb4.
This isn’t true. GHK-cu’s benefits aren’t limited to skin and hair, nor are its risks. It’s specifically involved in tissue remodeling, anti-inflammation, and wound-healing, and that all can and does go beyond skin and hair. Many in ortho/sports medicine use it to support recovery from injury of tendons and ligaments, for example.

Interesting, thank you. I'd been shown information that lead me to believe otherwise so this makes some rethink my use of subQ ghk-cu. I may need to stick to topical only. I appreciate the information.
