I’ve been doing a lot of reading on different peptides lately and I keep coming across mixed information when it comes to their relationship with cancer risk or progression. I know some peptides can stimulate growth factors or cellular repair, but I’m also seeing warnings that certain ones might accelerate cancer if it’s already present.
I’m not trying to self-diagnose anything, just trying to understand what’s legit vs. what’s internet fearmongering. Are there specific peptides that are known (or suspected) to increase cancer risk, like growth-hormone–related ones (e.g., BPC-157, TB-500, IGF-1 LR3, etc.)? And are there safer options for recovery or anti-inflammatory purposes that don’t carry that concern?
Would really appreciate any scientific input, experiences, or even good studies anyone can share. Just trying to stay informed before deciding whether or not to use anything. I personally haven’t been screened for cancer, there’s only some history on my mothers side (Aunt, Grandma, Great Aunt) and I’m also half Ashkenazi Jewish from my mother, not entirely sure if I carry BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation genes.
Thanks in advance!

As a cancer survivor, I have done a lot of research into this. I do not touch anything growth hormone related or that encourages angiogenesis. The risk is just too high. TB500/tb4, bpc157, mt1/mt2, tesamorelin etc.

KPV is a safer option for anti-inflammatory, which I pin daily with my ghk-cu.

I recommend getting onto Peppys as you'll find all the research there to help you make an informed decision.

Thank you for the resource! Do you happen to pin Epi? I’ve read good things about it having potential anti-cancer effects, but also the opposite.

Both.

I pin a mix daily. 2mg ghk-cu/1mg ghk basic/400mcg KPV daily Monday-Friday for 5 weeks on, 3 off.

I use topical ghk-cu at a 1.5% concentration in a hyaluronic acid based body lotion on my general body 3 or 4 times a week.

I use topical ghk-cu at a 1% concentration in a hyularonic acid based day cream for my face every morning, and at a 1.5% concentration for my face in a hyularonic acid based night cream every evening.

I do! I had brain cancer and I pin epi at 1mg daily for 10 days every month. 10 on, 20 off.
I respect your resilience friend. What benefits have you observed? I’m somebody that struggles with getting quality sleep and I have been looking to read more experiences using epi.

I sleep well, I have less brain fog, my memory is better, I stumble over my words less.

As a good general rule, anything you take that will build muscle will accelerate the growth of cancer and/or tumors, including HGH, Growth Hormone secretagogues and AAS.

Check out the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). They have lists of what can accelerate growth. Vitamin C, NAC, Folic Acid and Vitamin E are on there in addition to the others I mentioned in the previous paragraph.
