Been on Tirz since August 2024. Maintenance since late May/early June 2025. Dosing 8mg/week, split into two doses (once every 3.5 days). Haven’t increased my dose since February. Last two doses I used an old vial of Skye I got last September (not wasting that $$$ stuff!). Before that, I was exclusively using Nexa in 2025 with literally zero issues.

Allodynia arrived last week. Started on my inner thigh, moved to my mid-quad, and how is on my outer hip.

It’s MADDENING.

What is causing this and how do I make it go away other than just stopping the Tirz altogether?

Filler in the Skye vial?

Vitamin deficiencies from long term GLP-1 use? Which ones?

How long does it last?

Help me not lose my mind!

I tackled it with hot shower, lots of thick lotion after shower and then roll on lidocaine OTC. Had to take Benadryl for bedtime too. I definitely had this more 2 years ago when I started. I started with Skye Tirz also. It eventually went away after @5-6 months. Also switched vendors around that time. Coincidence? Good luck

I’m on sema/cagri and mine comes and goes. If I’m working out and stretching it quiets down.

I’m just realizing that I had some long underwear on last week and that didn’t bother me. But regular pants do when they brush against my skin. Maybe now that it’s cooling off I’ll just wear long underwear until spring.

8mg isn't a normal dosage for tirz. I'm curious why you deviated. Not saying it's the cause, just curious why people don't follow EL's dosage guidelines

Was that vial's BUD past date? And how far past the date was it?

Dump the Skye tirz. Its not worth it no matter what you paid. If you don't have any other supply, bite the bullet and buy some more from Nexaph unless you are willing to wait.

You should be taking a daily multivitamin anyway so do that. Even a cheap generic multivitamin is better than nothing. I would also consider more vitamin D and B complex because those are linked with that condition (according to google anyway)

I have enough Nexa to last me 10 years. I just used the Skye because I have it and didn’t want it to go to waste and wanted to use up the last of my BAC with a smaller dose vial.

I have a multivitamin daily as well as a B12, but the multivitamin doesn’t have even 100% of most nutrients.

I read somewhere that Zinc helps, so I’ve got Amazon on the way with that too.

With reta, the suggestion for allodynia is often zinc- do you take it?

Get yourself a kit of ARA-290. Take 4mg per day for 28 days.

I'm taking ARA-290 for the past 28 days and it's made parts of my skin extra sensitive. It's not pain, but I'm feeling more. A light brush against my arm feels more intense than usual. Upon researching, it seems this can happen with ARA. It has, however, helped with pain I was having in my leg.

Yeah, I may have had it even longer. I had been wearing leggings, and those don’t rub. But last week, I wore a loose pair of hiking pants and there was a lot of friction. And since then, I just notice it every time I move or get goosebumps. Goosebumps actually HURT on my thigh!

Hmmmm… I’ll consider it. What vendor do you use for this?

ETA: Just saw that my favorite has it and can get it to me fast. Just wish I didn’t have to buy a whole kit to try it.

The big downside of ARA-290 is that it can take 2-3 weeks to see any effect. So even a single vial may only have a weeks worth at most. I ended up buying 3 vials, then decided to buy 2 kits from PGB just in case it worked and I didn't have more.
