For me, prevention is the way to go. I take about 1/2 to 3/4 of a dose of Miralax almost every night. If I don't the consequences are brutal. My doctor has okayed it, I've had to use it since starting in 2023.

Maybe that is because your amylin receptors are already working at peak performance. These peptides work on our hormones, so I believe it’s all in hitting the right receptors. I think that is why Tirz works great for some, but for others it's Sema or Reta.

I think the price the pharmacy pays is negotiated by volume. I know when I used a small mom and pop pharmacy I wouldn't fill my GLP-1s there. It always cost them to do it, and I didn't want them to have to eat the loss so I fill those at Publix.
