I actually got 32g 4mm ones bc Im that much of a baby. I finally did it & didn't feel it (with help). I applied lidocane 2x about 45min before, then I iced for about 30min, then I put on headphones with music, I pinched with nails to get a sensation from that & got help doing the pen so I could think of something else. What a relief, ha ha!! Just had a small dot of blood & was there last night. That didn't bother me though. Thank you for all the advice!! 🙂Here's a kindly hint: There's a difference between 30g and 31 gage needles. (Even for a sasquatch) I can't even feel a 31g needle. 😇
Ended up doing 2ml in the 30mg (tests showed 34, 34, 37) so I went with it being 34 & did 6 units (to keep the smaller volume amount). 32g 4mm so the smallest I could find, ha ha. Thank you!! 🙂Get 31g needles like @Sasquatch said
I don't want to be pedantic, but I don't want any newbies reading through this quickly and making a mistake of an order of magnitude .Each 0.10 ml of solutition marked on the body of the syringe (one unit) provides 1 mg. I am still taking 2 mg tirz twice weekly so I use 0.5 ml syringes for greater accuracy. I was a chemist during my work life and am comfortable with the metric system and making dilutions. I don't know if these dilutions sounds simple to others or not.
Keep it as simple as possible and do 3ml of water for 30 mg so 10 units = 1mg. Also, use Hospira brand Bac water. You’ll see discussions about that here. Personally I only use Hospira. Once you are used to that ratio maybe do 1.5 ml
It's hard to find anything but 5/16 (8mm) x 31gage syringes.dumb question. For glp-1 are you using 1/2 inch or 5/16 inch needles?
Of course I edited above to addI don't want to be pedantic, but I don't want any newbies reading through this quickly and making a mistake of an order of magnitude .
Assuming you are using 'standard' U100 syringes, 0.1ml (and 1mg, at your concentration) would be 10 units, not 1.
Using a pen 32g 4mm (thinner & shortest option I found)dumb question. For glp-1 are you using 1/2 inch or 5/16 inch needles?
