6 weeks on Reta, and surprising result.

Gotcha Ultima. And that's a lot of weight you lost pre GLP-1s. Well done. Hopefully it'll be easier this time with Reta.

I still have a couple weeks at 2mg then planning on 3mg for 4 weeks. I'm not buying the magic 4mg minimum for glucagon agonist theory and I'll probably get there eventually anyway.

Good to know Glow is working for your shoulder. I tried BPC-157 for a couple months with no improvement in shoulder pain but I've been considering trying Glow or Klow.
From my perspective I would recommend to go for Klow eventually. It is actually Glow plus Kpv. As I am really happy of Glow and the improvement it gives me so far I regret didn't get Klow. Found out it could be very helpful with my skin issues, so gonna order Kpv by itself and just add to the stack. Unnecessary hassle if I would get the Klow at first...

I remember back in the day when they would take out calipers to measure one's gut fat and body mass percentages in college health/gym classes. Don't know if that's still around. I just used the time-worn and very scientific method of grabbing my gut and giving it a little shake, then grabbing my shoulder to see if all I can still feel is bone after all of the muscle wasting I didn't account for.

It is my 6th week on Reta now, and it was so far so good....but as every Friday morning I checked my weight today and boom! Surprise! So I started from 1mg per week. On the 3rd week tirtrated to 2 mg. Results were just perfect, cuz my weight was dropping 1.5kg/3.3lbs per week average. But today, when I stepped on weight scale it shows 0.5kg/1.1lbs more, than the week before. 🫤 So I tried to figure out, if anything changed in my routine the last week. First thing is Epithalon, I started a week ago (0.5mg/day), and the second, I add a bit more protein to my daily intake (around 30g). Don't think that any of those had any impact on gaining within last week. All of the rest is, as it was beforehand. 5 days a week at the gym, high protein/low carb/low fat diet, 2 meals per day, sleeping well, around 7h...I'm a bit confused, cuz Reta shot day is Monday and wanted to titrate to 3mg this time, but reading now alot about the magic threshold of the 4mg of Reta, and considering to jump on that dose now. And btw, food noise, feeling full while eating, no cravings, those all are working fine. Also have no side efects at all on 2mg. So at first, wondering, why I gained in the 6th week on Reta, and what dose would you recommend for me to jump on now. Or maybe stay on 2mg and see what will happen?
I had a similar experience. I dropped for 2 weeks straight on 2mg, then gained. Then went to 3mg for 4 weeks and lost a little but kind of stalled after week 2, I was just going up and down in weight. Once I went up to 4 I started dropping again. I know people just say to go straight to 4 but honestly I’m really glad I did 3 first. I definitely felt it working even though I stalled, I just don’t always eat the best. It’s not a race, take it slow.
I’m getting side affects at 4, nothing unmanageable but heart burn if I eat anything at 9pm or any greasy food at all. It’s actually hard to eat lunch but still get hungry at dinner. I’m glad I went from 3 to 4 though, I think if I went straight from 2 to 4 my side effects could have been worse.

I had a huge problem with heart burn since my childhood, but it's completely gone since I started low carb diet.

Certainly still happens I had a girl at work this week saying her PT got the old calipers out in her check up. Crazy considering how accessible the biometric machines are now

Well guys, I stepped on the gym scale and here's another surprise. On the left hand side my results taken last Sunday, and on the right today's score. In general it looks like I lost a bit of fat, and gained a bit of muscles and it has taken only 6 days! My yesterday's weighting (which initiated that thread) was at the morning, before I visited the crapper, so it might be like a few of you said, water, and other stuff in the system made my total weight a bit higher. Basically thorough those 6 days, I lost 0.9kg eventually...I checked my weight on the home scale, when back home and it showed 0.4kg more than the gym scale, which means it is not so precise...anyway it's another proof how awesome thing Reta is. Of course I helped it with a strict diet, hard workouts and sleeping 7h per night average...but still this compound let you lose fat and gain muscles simultaneously! And btw. Don't mind too much my high which is a bit different on the scale tickets , just probably stood in a bit different position while taking a weight. Anyway I'm 177cm, as far as I remember 😁
