I used to suffer a lot from seasonal atopic dermatitis, specially on my palm right under my ring finger. It'd itch, bloat, make bunch bubbles and ooze.
Gross right?

A few years ago, I read that oat fiber was anti-inflammatory. Back then I didn't know anything about fibers, immunity and stuff because I was studying alternative proteins. I bought insoluble oat fibers from Amazon and mixed into vaseline with water and bit of generic lotions to make a smooth paste. I spread it on my impacted area for 3 days, and boom, not only they healed with no scars but they HAVE NEVER COME BACK SINCE. Vaseline never worked for me so I knew it had to be the fiber.

My mom also suffers from rosacea on her face, and since she tried my random invention, she swears by it and says it's better than any steroidal creams or skincare products.

Yall should try it and report back.

No, go look up Anthonys Oat fiber. It is not an oat bran, but purely insoluble fraction.

I suppose oat brans can work too but i would rather eat oat brans

I never measured it, but a good table spoonful for a big tub of vaseline should do it. A few tsp of water and generic lotions just enough to make consistent paste

Oats are a pretty traditional remedy. Those of a cough certain age were thrown in oatmeal baths for chicken pox, poison oak, eczema or unfortunate attacks by mosquitoes. It's known for soothing skin irritation of all kinds. I make a soap using colloidal oats, it is well loved.
