It's June, which is my tirzepatidaversary, which means I'm buying a year's worth of tirz at my current dose to replace my year's usage (never mind that I didn't show up here til August and didn't have my ten-years-max-dose all set in the freezer til November, we're buying a year in June every year, shut up.)
Adding up the costs of a year on grey. Assume I buy 100 packs when it makes sense to.
T-75 off a group buy: $185 (sixty weeks at 12.5, fifty at 15mg, I'm just gonna call that a year's worth)
Bac water: Assuming I do 25 mg/ml, 30 ml. We'll call that $15, though I went nuts on bac water last fall and ordered a couple of cases, so I will not be repurchasing.
4mm filters and 13 mm filters to vent, ten each. 13mm filters are $1.05, and 4mm $1.35, so $24.
Pen cartridges: $1 apiece, so $10.
Luer locks, 10, $3.50
Luer lock needles, 3 short per cart (one to recon, one to vent the cart, 1 to fill the cart): $5.40 for 30.
Luer lock needles, long, 1 per cart, $1.80 for ten.
Pen needles, one per week, $4.68 for the year.
Alcohol wipes: 2 per vial (one to do the bac water and vial, then to do the vial and the cartridge awhile later), so 20, then 52 per year: $4.32.
New pen: I don't know that I NEED to replace my v1 once a year, but let's say it for kicks, since one of my v1 's DID die recently: $21, which is overpaying.
Total: $274.70 to restock a year's worth. So about $22 a month.
