Well its week 2, day 1 on good Ole reta. 2mg.

I have no appetite which is great. The thought of food is just blah. I need to get in protein so I packed a few high protein snacks but legit this lunch I have to go to today sounds unbearable.

Mild side effects, bit of nausea that's about it so far.

About 3 days post pin and the nausea hit me this morning. Definitely need more water and electrolytes but I weighed myself and BAM down 7 lbs since starting.

Happens to all of us when starting. I lost 2.2lbs/week which is good. You don't want to lose too fast, not good.
I think im averaging around 2lbs per week also. Definitely agree with not wanting to lose weight to fast. A average of 1-2lbs per week is plenty.

Update.

I've reached the day before pin day! My food noise and hunger are down way more than last week. Yay half life. 😋. My fatigue is still there but having insomnia before Reta doesn't help. Amazing nap today to be honest.

Desperately need to up the protein intake. I eat the same amount as before in terms of it but not nearly enough in the grand scheme. Maybe 70g a day if that right now. Exercise is still happening, not at a gym but at home with weights and resistance bands. Walking daily trying to get into the habit of post dinner walk.

I am super excited for pin day tomorrow because who isnt excited for pin day. Knowing im helping myself this way to start making healthier better choices is what keeps driving me. Ive struggled for years losing weight, gaining it back and restarting the cycle over again. Keeping it off, keeping myself committed to the changes because my body is now telling me too is why I love reta right now.

That's my story for now.
