Hey guys!
Just a question, I have chronic ADHD. I have been on 70mg of Vyvanse for a long time. This has helped my BED as well. But while doing research, I have seen some people report that taking reta essentially made the effect of their Vyvanse stop, which for me would be pretty bad.
Does anyone have any experience with this topic? I know everybody is different when it comes to medication effectiveness, but I wanted to see if this was a common issue. Thanks in advance!

While not vyvanse or any adhd med, I noticed pre-workout hits way softer on reta than prior. Can only assume that carries over to stimulant based medications.

So im on Adderrall. I have taken it much less since starting Reta. I believe the Reta has had a positive effect on my adhd. Best thing to do would be to try it, see how you’re doing for a week or two. Worst case, stop the Reta try Tirz. I know how devastating adhd can be. You can also try adding other peptides like Semax/Selank that help with adhd.

Interesting, I've been on methylphenidate since March (diagnosed with ADHD a few weeks previous) and it has helped me out massively with my mental health and all my ADHD associated fkups!

I finally started Retatrutide last weekend so hopefully the two will work together nicely for a healthy mind and body.

I'll follow this thread closely!

Not Vyvanse but Adderall 10mg/day for ADHD for 18 yrs now (45M). I myself didn’t notice anything when i started in the way of decreasing effectiveness of my Adderall.

If no one on Adderall reports an effect, but Vyvanse-takers do, I wonder if the theoretical pathway is something with the way the Vyvanse pro-drug is converted to dextroamphetamine in the body?

With the craving effect on food, alcohol, drugs with GLP-1s/GIPs… I often wonder if that has something to do with executive function itself. I was in a tirz clinical study for 18 months on 15mg, and I did notice anti-alcohol, anti-rumination (I mean with respect to Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria), and anti-impulsivity effects. I would not at all be surprised if ADHD-related effects are some day added to this class of drugs’ numerous effects.

I've used Vyvanse and I'm currently on Adderall. I've been taking stimulants for just over a year now pretty consistently. And inconsistently in my teenage years and early 20s (27f).

I do want to mention that I almost feel like I "NEED" the adderall to function so I never forget to take it. But when i was on the vyvanse, there would be times I knew I needed to take a break from it, so I did for a few days or not on the weekends. But with adderall I've been reaching for it everyday.

Although I'm coming up on my 3rd dose of reta 2mg, and I've noticed I reach for it a LOT less often.

BUT I also started semax and selank at the same time as my first dose of reta.

So I wouldn't be able to say for sure its the reta, but I've noticed my impulsivity has gone down A LOT since. I rarely drink now too.

Could you share some insight into semax and selank? If you don't mind, that is..... I'm interested in looking it up as well, but wanted to hear your own experience on why you started it/ how it's going, etc. 🙂

Sure! I started the semax and selank on June 17th and ive been on 500mcg daily for both. The first day I took 250mcg because it was my first time pinning and I didn't know how it would affect me.

But I remember that day I felt like the 1000 conversations I usually have in my head at the same time went QUIET. If you've ever seen that SpongeBob episode where the tiny office workers are screaming, running around in panic and all the files are on fire, that's how my brain is 100% of time, from when i wake up to when i go to sleep.

That's why I was interested in the selank and semax. But that day, I remember being able to take my time with things, I was able to think and not be interrupted by the thousand things I constantly worry about. I felt like wow is this what normal people are supposed to feel like?

This is also my own observation, but I feel like I'm always in a constant fight or flight mode/sympathetic system always on. After a few days of taking it, I noticed I was yawning. I can't remember the last time I yawned lol. I'm sure I have, it just wasn't as prominent before because of how I felt when I noticed it. I remember thinking wow, I feel calm, peaceful, and safe.

I also don't have the brain fog like I used to. I'm not constantly stuttering when I talk to people. My social anxiety has calmed down quite a bit.

I remember when I took a stimulant for the first time and everything went quiet as well. I am glad that everything is going good for you!!! Do you use the intranasal or the subq?!
