My friend was ready to sign up for the Lilly direct $400/month program, but I’m trying to convince her a compounding pharmacy is safe and significantly more affordable.

I’ve recommended Labender Sky Health before, but I’m sure there are better options now.

I see Big Easy Weight Loss ($166/month to start) is recommended by randos on Reddit, but I suspect folks here are more reliable at suggesting such things.

Any recommended affordable, reliable compounding Tirz access that delivers to California to recommend?

Wrong forum? From what I've seen on here it is mostly grey. Best of luck!

Yeah, I only know gray really so hoping someone ended up here after finding a reasonable Tirz compounder first. Hopefully the path my friend takes eventually. And thanks to whoever moved this to the right spot. Though this looks like a … slow category. Makes sense why to be sure.

LavenderSky is good but more expensive. Big Easy is very active on Reddit and seems to have great customer service especially if someone has more questions and needs advice. Pomegranate health is one of the cheaper options for higher doses. They are lower cost and lower customer service but worked fine for me in the past. Zelmar702 posted the reddit link. It's a minefield of complaints and repeated questions, but also some useful information on compounded. Hope this helps your friend.

She can go to the website GLPWINNERS .com and there are many Telehealth compounding companies that use that website...she can do a price comparison of different vendors and read reviews from clients. I directed my sister there until she finally came over to the grey side.
She watched me lose weight at 12bucks a vial over the months, while she was paying 200+ 😆 she got over her worry in about 3 months.

I used Mochi before I went grey. I had no complaints. They were cheap for a compound pharmacy. They compounded Tirzepatide with glycine. I still take Glycine with my grey tirz for maintenance.

I used Brello, but if I'd stayed with compound, I'd have considered Big Easy. I got friends who use Brello and who are happy

Brello has such a loyal following and so many people love their product. I ordered once and never used it, mainly because of the brown vials, additives, and vial labels that looked very amateurish. But I got it cheap and used the Rx with another provider a month later that required proof of dosage.

As far as Big Easy, not a huge fan of Dave the owner or principal or whatever he is in that organization. Like Brello, lots of people like Dave, but I’m not a fan and would never order from BEWL.

My last orders of compounded tirzepatide, before I found my way to grey, was with Refills and Pomegranate. Both experiences were fine.

@zebit0 I’d trust the folks in the compounded tirzepatide subreddit. It’s a huge forum with lots of knowledge about who ships to CA and what’s the most affordable option. For me, when I was using compounded, price was a less of a decision than what compound pharmacy did I want mixing my meds. I tended to want my medication from a 503b. But that’s just my 2cents.

I know Pomegranate went through reddit drama where the vendor site was compromised and then a non employee moderator disclosed PHI on the subreddit.

Holy cow! PHI being released is terrible, I’d be so pissed. There was also a lot of drama over ProRx’s last FDA inspection.

I haven’t been on that board for a long time, so I missed the drama about Pomegranate. But, if the OP posts in the subreddit, things like this will come up more Reddit than here as here most people are focused on grey.

Curious to know your concerns with BEWL. Seem to be few negative reviews so interested to hear your perspectives
Go to glp winner for comparison of different providers.
I tired that but it doesn’t include a couple commonly recommended providers like BEWL.

Seems BEWL works out to $200/month at any dose.

It’s really no concerns about BEWL and as I mentioned, BEWL has a huge following and lots of folks in the compounded tirzepatide subreddit LOVE Dave. He’s not a terrible person or anything. And, back in the day, things were different as far as BEWL’s pricing and I think that they were one of the more pricy options and/or might have had a requirement that you meet virtually with a provider.

I was on compounded tirzepatide for about a year and for me it was more about the compounding pharmacy than the telehealth company. The telehealths are just the middlemen in my mind. So, I personally would find the telehealth that provides you with what you want as far as the compounder pharmacy at the best price. I had no telehealth loyalty, but had compound pharmacy loyalty.

I used Brello before switching to grey. Brello was good but they don't ship to Cali yet.

Refills dot com has a one month Groupon deal going on. I actually ended up ordering because I have a friend who won't do gray. Somehow they ended up sending me 4 vials of 72mg triz instead of one for the $146 Groupon price. I had to pay $20 shipping and stretch the truth that I am on a current dose of 15mg. BUD of 2027, I am thrilled and will give one to my friend and keep the other 3 for myself!

Damn you 😂 I tried to jump on that mess up and missed by a few hours.

Here’s what Reddit seems to say, not bad and I hadn’t heard of a few of these, thanks:
  • Refills
  • JoinBigEasy
  • Fifty410
  • BrelloHealth
  • Gimme. Care
  • LavenderSkyHealth
  • GobyMeds
  • GoodLifeMeds
I tried "Gim", had great results with the compound Tirz.

Rift is another telehealth. Not sure whether they service California.
OptioRX actually has a compounding site in Burbank CA, but they add B3 to their tirz.
