Am I storing incorrectly?

Hi!

48 year old female here. Previously lost over 100 pounds using a low calorie plan, plateaued after that. Went on Wegovy and lost another 50 pounds. Insurance dropped the coverage, and I gained back about 20 pounds in about 6 weeks when I wasn’t on anything.

I ended up getting semaglutide through an online company, didn’t work. Still had SO much food noise, hunger, etc.

I ended up switching to Tirz peptides, grey market, no reduction in food noise or hunger. Added Reta (went up to 6 mg) no change.

Back on semaglutide, 2.4 mg, through grey market. Slight (?) reduction in food noise. Maybe slight appetite reduction.

Since I had so much success with Wegovy and nothing else, I’m wondering if I’m storing my peptides incorrectly. They are refrigerated, so is my BAC water. They are typically on the side door of my fridge. Does this matter?

I just don’t understand why Wegovy worked SO well and nothing since has.

Thanks for reading!

the generic name for wegovy is Semaglutide maybe you not giving it enough time to work its magic since you been switching left and right?
I guess I should’ve added more of a time line. This has been over a year of trying. I know that Wegovy is semaglutide, but none of the off-brands I’ve tried have worked as well as Wegovy did

You have been on both Tirz and Sema for a long time, your body is used to it.
You could stack with Cagri, I do it myself, because I don't get appetite suppression from Reta.
You should max out on Reta before you shift, if you can tolerate the doses.
Retas sweet spot is around at least 8 mg, for you maybe more.
Get more juice for the buck = do Reta.

BTW, I did read somewhere that the side door is not so good because the temperature will go up and down, but how much it really means, I have no idea. I store in the fridge on a shelf, not to close to the back.

Have you had your peps tested for mass and purity? Or searched through the forum and various 3p testing servers for the batch you got? Could be a number of deltas involved but it doesn’t seem like storage is really as big of a deal as some make it.

I've rotated sema tirz and reta for over a year now and lately I feel immune to even 15mg tirz and 1.5mg sema every 5 days.... thinking about coming off for 6 weeks and hopefully I get a reset effect before I go back on....

When this happened to me, I took a 3 week break and it worked. Went from being on 15mg Tirz every 5 days to only needing 10mg. However, it didn't last as long and I was needing to titrate back up fairly quickly.

I'm back up on the highest dose, though I'm currently splitting it so I stead of 15mg every 6 days, I am doing 7.5mg every 3 and that's working for now. Been on Tirz too long between the official Mounjaro and then grey market and think I am just become numb to it.

I've stocked some Cagri as a booster as I'm going to look at stacking a small cag dose with the Tirz to see if that helps me to push the Tirz back to every 4 or 5 days at least. If not, I'm going to use the Cagri to support appetite control while I transition over to reta, I think.

I stopped testing brand sema for 2 months. Started again at lowest dose. Titrated up to 1.7. it's as if I'm testing water. Titrating up to 2.4 on Wednesday. After that, I don't know what to do. I have a lot of sema; had to make it worth the shipping fee. Tirz? Reta? Stay with Sema and add Cagri?

Just be careful with cagri. It has specific pH requirements and also has some hefty side effects. One guy here stated he slept for almost 20 hours.

What are you looking for overall? To just lose fat quickly or have the anti-inflammatory, appetite suppression benefits of tirzepatide?

Thank you. Yes, I have read some info about Cagri pH requirements. It feels a bit over my head which is why I haven't pulled the trigger. Sema, I know. LOL

My RS is T2 in remission. Even so, A1C can creep up over time. I am very careful with RS macros. Looking for ongoing A1C support, food noise reduction & weight loss. The food noise is blaring at the moment.

Thanks for reinforcing the Cagri pH issue.

Cagri has been pretty worthless for me, while others had great success. I ended up thinking best combo was Reta at study doses once a week and low dose Sema once a week 3-4 days apart.

Might be worth trying Sema from another gray market company, there is the occasional bad or underfilled batch. Also is it a psychological belief that one is better - not trying to be rude?

Imho it is easier to drop weight when very obese and new to everything, as you start to lose big amounts your body does react. It can take as long to lose last 5 lbs as your first 50.

You're welcome. I find it extremely disingenuous that peptide sites mention nothing about the pH requirements and think just BAC is ok. I think more people need to listen to the drug manufacturer instead of some random peptide site.
