It is true that a lot of Amazon's BAC water is not sterile, but that's not an issue for me.
The moment you puncture the vial it's not sterile anymore and unless you buy small vials of BAC that only see one use, chances are you'll puncture the vial multiple times; introducing contamination.
Even 'real' BAC will eventually grow bacteria (hence the 28 day rule) so using a multi-dose vial is a bit dodgy on its own.
As for the alcohol. I can simply smell it (probably taste it too... never tried 🙂). Spray some BAC with a syringe on a sheet of paper and it gives a subtle but distinct smell.
I'm not going to send BAC to Jano, but I do have access to a lab where I can possibly reproduce the growth of bacteria in the BAC that I use from Amazon.
Will see what I can do and post the results accordingly.
Not very scientific, I know... but for more then 2 years now this is the case.
However, I must add that I always filter my peptides (and thus my water) using 0.22 micron syringe filters.
