Hey! I go by the name Amethy, and I'm learning all I can here. I have had my DNA tested and learning about my own genome has really changed the way I view myself and take care of my body. I am very happy to here. I dont know if I'm allowed to say where I'm from. Ill just say Ohio for now. I have an Identical twin sister and we are on this journey together. 💖 I am digging in here and learning all that I can. Thanks!

Welcome! 🤗 I’m curious how the DNA testing helped you learn how to better take care of your body? Sounds super interesting!

It helped me understand so much! I downloaded my genetic data from ancestry and use on a website that has genetic cheat sheets and so many genetic articles explaining my DNA. It also confirmed that we ARE identical because well, we don't look exactly alike. I have the MTHFR gene and a fast COMT pathway. Just taking methylated b vitamins has improved my life. Now... we are both on tirzepatide to stop the food noise (also in our dna!). Its interesting stuff that I could talk about for hours. 😀

Wow that’s really cool!! I had no idea that our genes can determine how susceptible we are to food noise 🤯 I love learning about that sort of stuff so I’m definitely gonna look more into it. Thanks for sharing! And good luck to you and your twin on your journey!
