Any 50 YO men experience hair growth with anything?

I know that being on TRT has caused some thinning of my hair. I’ve read that GHK-CU can help make it thicker, so I decided to give it a shot. I’m about three weeks in and haven’t seen any results yet, but I’m not rushing it. This isn’t a drag race for me.

Dr Wallach, the nutrition quack, has been saying for more than 20 years that the main problem with hair loss is the major lack of copper in our diet. Now I find out GHK-CU is the solution to a lot of skin problems and you might also look into AHK-CU that's supposed to target hair issues.

I've actually studied this quite bit (went bald at 45, ya know)....The idea that most male hair loss is directly driven by testosterone is a common misconception. Male pattern baldness the most prevalent form of hair loss in men, is primarily caused by dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a potent derivative of testosterone, and genetic sensitivity to DHT. DHT is the key player: Testosterone itself does not directly cause hair loss.

Testosterone levels are not the main factor: Men with high testosterone can have full heads of hair if they lack sensitivity, while men with low testosterone can still experience significant hair loss due to genetic predisposition. But also it seems that TRT can accelerate hair loss in genetically susceptible individuals by increasing DHT levels.

There's a lot more to it but basically, it's not testosterone levels that drive hair loss, but rather genetic sensitivity to DHT—a metabolite of testosterone. Therefore, most male hair loss is not testosterone-driven, but DHT- and genetics-driven.

I hope this info helps someone.

I don't know, I'm over 50 and I think GHK-Cu (subQ and topical) has helped some skin wrinkles, and maybe my hair is a bit more lustrous (or the haircut is better), but the only hairs that came back were the ones I didn't want and thought I'd gotten rid of! I didn't need the bumper crop of ear and nose hair.
