I have found great success with using Tirz + increased cardio + habits I already had in previous cuts. it was much easier than any cut I've ever done before, other than harsh metabolic sides for the first few weeks. Tirz rocks. this was November 2024 until about March 2024.

around that time I was transitioning to maintenance and decided to get some Reta. the mechanism appears to be strictly better and research shows greater weight loss.
well, after months of playing with dosages, I have concluded that with Reta compared to Tirz:
  • I get much weaker apppetite suppression
  • it makes me more likely to binge (an old habit) and less likely to stop mid-binge and question myself
  • skin sensitivity is a serious problem. with Tirz it was negligble
  • I feel less energetic overall
on multiple occasions I have done A/B testing with Tirz, specifically right now. I think I've taken a total of 6mg Tirz in the span of almost two weeks. appetite suppression is just so much stronger, it's ridiculous - with Reta I'm not getting that at 8mg. it feels like I can choose to eat, or can choose not to, and my body doesn't care one way or the other (though I still enjoy the act of eating... old habits die hard)

sorry if that was a little long, but anybody else experiencing something like this? shouldn't Reta be better?

It's really interesting to me how all of our metabolisms and physiological characters seem to be all just a little bit different from each other.

I have not tried Ret -yet- but considered it after four months of T and considerable weight loss on 7.5mg ultimately (lost 36# and am at GW). At some point, T wasn't quite giving me what you describe above and I tried stacking Surv with it - et voila!!! With that combo, RS experiences exactly verbatim what you describe above for your RS on T alone. Especially the "choose or choose not...though I still enjoy the act of eating." Flippin' liberating!

Did you start stacking before increasing your dose of T. Up to 15 mg?

Evrything I’ve read and heard is that Reta appetite suppression is nowhere near that of Tirz, Sema, or Cag.

I’ve started on Reta and definitely feel some suppression, but definitely resonate with still feeling hungry

Yes. I had been at 7.5T for several weeks and was considering going up to 10 but decided against it due to reviewing other's research regarding the add-on effect of Surv and at least for my RS it has delivered as - and beyond - expected. I never went above 7.5 T. Started with .6mg S back-to-back w/ 7.5 T. Now at 1.2 S and staying at 7.5 T. YMMV

I’ve seen highest suppression between 2 and 4 days after pin. Got up to 3mg every 3 days and nada. Nothing doing. Swapped to 6mg every 6 days for three weeks and day 5 was starving Marvin. Went with 5mg and going to try every 5 days starting last night. Let’s see if I can level out hunger. Odd how different it is for different subjects.

I am a Tirz guy over Reta for sure. Everything that most people talk about Reta being is what Tirz does for me. I have several IRL friends that Reta has worked really well for though. Just have to find your thing... 👍

Man, I actually miss my tirz. I did Mounjaro 3 years ago for about 10 months. Sw: 278lbs and my lowest weight was 190lbs then my insurance cut me off cold turkey. Decided the best way to gain it all back was to get pregnant lol lost almost 90lbs and was strength training like crazy. I felt amazing and had never been so close to a goal weight before.
1 year postpartum I started compounded sema from a telehealth and lost nothing/felt nothing. Learned about grey market and I’ve been on Reta for about 6 months and gone from 265lbs- 225lbs. Definitely losing slower and way less appetite suppression.
I do think the slower weight loss is better in the long-term as far as skin, muscle retention, just overall health but I’m not gonna lie and pretend I’m excited about losing slower lol. I also had so much motivation to workout last time…maybe it’s the Reta vs tirz or maybe it’s the Tasmanian devil child I added to my crew but I’m exhausted and have no motivation to workout hard like I did last time.

I chose Reta since it’s supposed to be better than tirz but I do kind of miss it. But my freezer stash won’t even let me consider it again lmao
