Anyone else started a TRT journey with grey?

I got the same but haven’t used any of it yet
Idk if it’s the same batch, but my husband and some friends have used SSA’s c250. No complaints.

I'm not on trt but all my buddies that inject do it in the ventro glute with a 27ga 1/2 inch syringe. Been debating on starting and would definitely do the smallest needle possible instead of a harpoon.

Also, some people even do subq. Guess it depends on the volume and carrier oil
I think doing subq works, but results are inconsistent, whereas IM always works. Some people’s labs go down when switching from IM. Plus the leaner you get the more those oil lumps are gonna show, and I’ve seen some people with lumps that last for a long time.

For me personally, I tried it twice and got horrible acne both times. It’s like it worked too fast or maybe too slow, because fluctuations can do that and I think maybe women are more sensitive? Idk. I think it can work, but if you don’t get improvements in lab values after a couple months, go to IM.

About needle size, my husband uses a cheap mug warmer from Amazon and can pull his dose in less than 30 secs. I’ve used a 30g before, but my dose is literal drops so it takes no time at all.

I'm prescribed TRT by my urologist. 200mg a week I split into 2 doses. Monday and Thursday. I've been on it about 3 years or so. Earlier this year it was impossible to get for some reason, and I stared using UGL. I just stockpile my pharma now. My T sits around 1200 and I feel great. I had issues with E2 and Hemoglobin until I lost 85lbs. Even at that dose I don't have any issues anymore.

SubQ will release slower which tends to result in less fluctuation which tends to improve some side effects, but you won't get as quick of a response and as high of a peak.

I can do TRT doses SubQ with a 30g - I draw with a 25g and swap - but when I go to higher doses I'll be swapping to IM and a 27g.

I’ve had this happen but in my delt, like an involuntary muscle twitch. It was such a weird feeling. Why such a long ass needle though? My husband and I both use 28g 1/2”. He does ventro glute and I rotate delts and glutes.
Maybe I’m just old school. lol I was always told it’s best to get it deep into the muscles because of more adequate blood flow. I tried subcutaneous and it did very little for me but leave bumps in my skin for weeks at a time.

I’ve been considering using vial spikes for my testosterone but I think I am just addicted to spending money on this stuff now.
